We split the veggie “All Around the World” platter for one. There’s also an option for two, but we remembered it being a lot of food, and the platter for one was the perfect amount. It left us satisfied without feeling overly full and was well worth the $14 price. The falafel was my favorite by far—I could honestly eat an entire platter of just that.
The staff was friendly and attentive, which always adds to the experience. The space itself has so much personality, decorated with a mix of items and seasonal touches. At first glance it might seem a little chaotic, but it’s done in a way that feels lively, charming, and intentional—giving the restaurant its own unique character.
If you’re in or around Findlay and want to try a variety of flavors and foods from around the world, I highly recommend Circle of Friends. And don’t miss the fun hats—they make for a great, playful photo op!
The food is just the right amount to fill you up, but it is the kind of meal that still leaves you thinking about it later. Every bite feels homemade and comforting, like something you would eat at a family gathering. It is the kind of food that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment instead of just eating and leaving.
The service makes you feel like you are part of the family. The staff treats you with the same care and kindness you would expect if you were one of their own kids. They make sure you are comfortable, that your food is good, and that you feel welcome the whole time you are there.
The atmosphere ties everything together. The different country flags and decorations around the room make the place feel lively and unique. It gives the restaurant character and makes it interesting to look around while you sit and eat.
Honestly, it is kind of shocking that the place is not packed with people all the time. With food, service, and an atmosphere like this, you would expect it to always be full. It feels like one of those places that more people should know about.
I ordered the Arabic-style half chicken, which was cooked to perfection, accompanied by a delicious plantain dessert and an egg roll. My wife chose a traditional Filipino birthday dish, embracing the cultural significance of the meal, and paired it with an Indian tea that had an exceptional depth of flavor. I opted for a creamy mango drink, a popular choice in Indian cuisine, which was both rich and refreshing.
Every dish was outstanding, and the staff truly made the experience even more special. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
