Five stars! This is, without a doubt, my go-to spot for authentic Japanese udon and tempura I’ve been back over four times! The food is consistently delicious, and a must try is the Kakuni Udon; the braised pork belly is incredibly soft and flavorful. The place is always nice and clean, and they deliver truly excellent customer service.

One of the better restaurants in the area! The noodles were fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and well-kept. The only odd part was their opening hours, which seemed a bit unpredictable, so definitely check ahead before you go. Despite that, I highly recommend it. Great food, great vibes — worth the visit!

I’m not Japanese so I can’t speak to authentic flavor, but the noodles taste good. The flavors aren’t as bombastic as say Jinya, but it’s decent. Prices aren’t bad either for the portion.

Why fly to Japan to wait 3 hours in line for udon carbonara when we have it in Metro Atlanta ?
Udon Shin Shibuya or Menchirashi Harajuku doesn’t have anything on this spot IYKYK.

All of the noodles are perfectly toothsome and never too startchy at this must-try. Definitely in the top 3 best noodles in Metro Atlanta.
The tempura at this shop is by far my favorite in the area. Light, crispy, and never too oily. Using the freshest Japanese style ingredients, like; okra オクラ , kabocha カボチャ , and shiitake 椎茸 .
The unassuming cafe setup, kind Japanese staff, and SHOCKINGLY LOW PRICES are why I would consider this noodle shop massively underrated.
Do yourself a favor and eat here.
As someone that visits Japan annually just to create food content, I could not recommend this local spot for an authentic Japan experience.

I have not been this satisfied after a meal in a long time. This is home style Japanese noodles and tempura that sets the standard for the area. Outstanding!
This place is small, yet comfortable, with great charm. The menu is not big, but it is filled with amazing noodles and side items. The flavor profile of every item is a stand-alone umame filled adventure.
Wow, the tempura vegetables are freshly crisp, cooked to perfection. Their homemade hot sauce is one of the more incredible accompaniments.
My kaknui udon is off the chart delicious. The braised pork belly is one of the most tender and flavorful I have had anywhere. Everything is homemade.
I cannot recommend this place enough. It really is one of the finest dining experiences you will have. They do not do dinner, so get there for lunch.

Quite literally the best udon in Georgia. I crave this place once a week. The food is amazing. The service is so kind and sweet. Amazingly priced. Very authentic. The food is made with love. Clean and nice aura. 10/10 truly recommend.

I had Midori as my waitress and she was kind to give us recommendations and made sure we had enough water, side dishes, and refills the entire time. Absolutely 100/10!

They are very serious about their Udon broth — It was tasty. However, if you are not a fan of shiitake mushroom scent, you might not like it. The tempura was just ok to me, but my friend fell in love with the tempura. (I personally prefer more crunchier and textured tempura skin.)
I would revisit because their basic Udon tasted really good. The owner chef was also super nice. (If you visit during busy lunch hours, the service might be slower.)
