Social Profile:

In 1931 a long-sought dream became reality. Giuseppe Cipriani opened the doors to Harry’s Bar. In a discreet stone building perched along a canal just off Piazza San Marco in Venice, he created a timeless and impeccably appointed establishment. His concept was to serve others as you would want to be served yourself. His vision of simple luxury came to touch the souls of people all over the world. Four generations of Cipriani have grown a single restaurant, into a world renowned hospitality brand. Cipriani Beverly Hills is open for Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week. The Jazz Café at Cipriani Beverly Hills offers classic Cipriani cuisine, attentive service and live entertainment, providing an intimate, warm atmosphere.

Upscale scene where an international crowd tucks into Italian food chased with Bellinis.

I did not have bad experience as some others who gave only one star.

I just don’t like to seat in the noise and crowds but it was not restaurant’s fault.

And the pasta we ordered actually surprised me. Sooooooo delicious !
To a used-to-be Italian foodie who had been so many Italian restaurants especially in LA, the pasta I ordered last night really wowed me. I cannot help myself with this pasta even though I only eat very little main food (especially carbohydrates) in life.

I also like to check restrooms in the restaurant, particularly in fine dining and luxury places. Restroom is a great area to see the art, architecture, and aesthetic details. I liked this 3 dimensional mirror and got a little fun there.

Next time, I will be back for jazz night and had made a reservation.

Another Great night in Beverly Hills and walk around after dinner.

The staff was very kind, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu items and extremely accommodating with food allergies. We ordered the ribeyeamd shoestring fries both prepared perfectly and delicious, lemon and caper scallops and rice were delicious. The terrace section felt like outdoors but comfortable indoor seating.

Cipriani was on our list for quite some time. Being Valentine’s Day, decided it would be the perfect spot and we were pretty excited! We had reservations so we did not have to wait. Once seated, we waited over 10 min for menus!
The first waiter (yes, there were multiple throughout our lunch) asked what kind of water we wanted (Still please!). We did not get water till much later. Bread basket was plentiful, but no butter or balsamic/oil – we did ask for something to dip it in, and the busboy brought over arguably the best balsamic vinegar we’ve ever had and olive oil. Menu came and waiter was ready to take our order… we hadn’t even opened the menu! I did order a cocktail at that time.
The Burrata was huge! Tasted ok, recommend adding some salt/pepper to it. Could’ve used more than 3 olives though. The Pappa Pomodoro was just pomodoro sauce with no noodles… Then the long lull. We finally got some water after asking a busboy, no cocktail yet. A new waiter came to check on us. He would be our waiter moving forward…unitl later! I asked about my cocktail, he went to check on it, and he brought it out 5 min later. Finally the entrees came out. Portions were decent. By this time, our water glasses were empty, my cocktail was done, and no one came to refill our waters. I could see the water pitcher, but I didn’t want to be that guy. After we finished our entrees, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our plates, and the girls wanted dessert By this point, I was like, we’re never leaving with this slow service. I got up to find our waiter, he was MIA. No, that’s because waiter #3 was now our guy… We ordered dessert, and I asked for the bill at the same time. Mind you, we are almost 2 hours in by now. Dessert showed up, we ordered two desserts, both tasted similar… looked different, but the cream inside was the same. Now, when you order a cake, you expect fluffy cake… no this was ALL frosting and the thinnest slices of cake in the middle (see the photos)! We were all fighting for the cake portion and left the frosting. The second one had a croissant-type crust around it which I liked, but way too much cream. I wanted to order a second cocktail, but I did not dare. Plus, no one asked which is very odd..

Bill came and for $300 + tip, I expected much, much more.

Unfortunately, this whole experience ruined our mood. I slept on it before writing this review, but I feel even more disappointed this morning.

We visit fine-dining restaurants often, but this fell way, way short. Will we return? Nope. Should I have listened to the TikToks or the 1 star reviews here? Yes. I’m giving them 3 stars because the food was okay, but the service was terrible. There are many other Italian restaurants around BH with better service, better tasting food, more frequent drink refills, care for its patrons, at a much better value. Greatly disappointed.

I’m not a drinker so going out with friends sometimes can be challenging especially when you’re going to a place like Cipriani where people are ordering bottles of wine and drinking alcoholic beverages like water BUT even with the extra $400 tacked onto the bill, it was close to worth it. The food is stellar the atmosphere is “special” and you only feel a little bit used at the end after.

If you are in Beverly Hills definitely do stop here for a meal. Even the bread is exceptional.
They even have a very reasonable lunch special.

It was nice of them to seat us without a reservation but the pasta was hard and undercooked. So disappointed after the bill was $250 and we thought this place would be known for Italian food. I’ve been to the New York location and it’s much better. Super super disappointed.

We wanted to make a reservation for the Jazz cafe, but instead made a reservation for the dining room. First a bit of disappointment, because pricing is just as high, but the experience of course really different. Also if you have a table for 2, the chairs are really far from eachother, perfect for a first date maybe, but not really romantic for valentines day. However, the food was great and the service perfect. We started of with some complimentary bread, which was real European bread, that I really miss here in America, so good start! Then we got some cut meats as an appetizer, simple, but therefore perfect. Our waiter (I’m so sorry, I forgot his name, but he had the most perfect moustache I have ever seen) recommended the Pasta alla Vodka, which I believe was not on the menu. That was probably the best pasta I ever tasted and cooked to perfection al dente. The manager was also a hero, who just wanted to make the night perfect. After not being able to poor an extra glass of wine out of the bottle we purchased, he got us an extra glass from the bar, so nice. We did not have any space left to try dessert. However, we were able to get into the jazzroom later in the bar area (standing), where we enjoyed some more drinks. Atmosphere was so nice, singer was good and the bar staff was really friendly. If you make a reservation, I definitely recommend to select the jazz room for the full evening.

The food was fantastic! We had a range of dishes and everything was very well done. The staff were incredibly attentive and the vibes were lively as the night progressed. To our surprise, there was a jazz bar upstairs which we checked out after dinner. Felt like a little speakeasy and there were even a few celebrities casually dining. Great place to see and be seen on a Saturday night if that’s what you’re looking for!

An Exceptional Experience at Cipriani Beverly Hills – 10 Stars If I Could!

I arrived a bit early and waited at the bar for a dear friend visiting from out of town. While I was sipping champagne, the bartender opened a fresh bottle, and it accidentally spraye! my dress, hair, and even my face got wet. But the staff’s immediate and professional response completely changed the tone.

They treated me so kindly, offering napkins right away, and within seconds, the manager, Serhiy Solomenko, came over personally. He apologized with such grace and insisted my drink was on the house. He even offered us a complimentary dessert.

Serhiy is top-tier professional, he came from Casa Cipriani in New York and brings a level of excellence and care that’s rare to find.

When my friend joined me, we both just laughed it off. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time, and it was a special evening. He’s a Cipriani member who visits locations worldwide and said this branch has the best schnitzel of them all! He even ordered an off-menu dish he knew about, and it was absolutely incredible (I took a picture. ask to see it and they might prepare it for you too!). He really knows what to order, so follow what I posted here, you won’t go wrong.

Even when there was a tiny hiccup one of the pastas had less sauce than expected the kitchen swiftly made us a fresh one with generous sauce, and it was perfection.

We were both blown away by the attentive, personalized service. The manager also showed us the Cipriani book, walking us through other gorgeous locations around the world, and even told us about Friday music nights, which we’re already planning to attend.

The dessert? Melt-in-your-mouth amazing. You have to try it—there’s just no way you should leave without it.

We left so full we couldn’t finish everything, and they packaged it all so beautifully, it felt like leaving a boutique like Tiffany’s. Five stars for that too!

We sat at our favorite cozy corner sofa table, perfect for two. The Beverly Hills location is relatively new (only two years old), and I was even here for the opening night. The whole team is super professional, including one lovely staff member who was previously the bar manager at Cipriani Dubai.

Honestly, the place just keeps getting better. The crowd is always stylish, the vibe is relaxed and elegant, as if you’re dining on a yacht.

Highly recommend. Cipriani Beverly Hills is truly something special.

Wonderful ambiance! Excellent venue for an upscale, romantic date. The food is some of the best I’ve had! And of course going upstairs for some smooth live jazz.
