This restaurant has some great food. It was served cafeteria style with a choice of different meats, vegetables, and breads. The serving sizes were not “skimpy” either. The staff members were pleasant and courteous. Since it was good, it was crowded and a little loud. All in all, I will want to visit there again!

I was told about this restaurant by a co-worker because I’m not from the area, so I was excited to try it. The cashier greeted me, however she wasn’t so nice about me not knowing their ordering process, so I just continued on because I wanted to give them a chance, the server had a very nasty attitude, when I say nasty, she was NASTY. I still responded nicely with yes ma’am and thank you, as I was checking out it was a lady sitting at a table in the corner and she was so nice and pleasant, if it wasn’t for her kindness I would rate my experience a 1 across the board. Let’s get to the food, I ordered 3 plates, a sandwich, and a slice of cake. On my pork chop plate and turkey wing plate it was only one piece of meat and the prices were different than the prices online. The pork chop was not fried very well however the beef gravy on my rice was really good, the meatloaf on my dad’s plate was good, I was told that the turkey wing was hard as if it was old, the cake was dry but the Arnold Palmer was good. So in a nut shell my experience was not so great, I will say, be a little pleasant to people who take their time to support your establishment and please give people two pieces of meat on their plate, when I pay you over $15 per plate I expect at least two pieces.

Clean, great staff, good food. Tried something new…new to me anyway Corn mixed with Lima beans (pretty good) Price was a little high. $14.85 for a lunch plate. Looking forward to trying their breakfast.

WONDERFUL food, amazing service, and everyone is always kind to my wife and I every single time we go, and we have made it our regular stop for lunch on Sunday for the past couple of weeks! Pleasant experience every single time. Staff always goes out of the way to make sure we and everyone else are well taken care of…..5 stars isn’t enough.

Tried this restaurant for the first time today and it was DELICIOUS. If you’re looking for good soul food this is the place to go. The chicken and the sweet potato soufflé was on point.
