We ordered a ton of food, and every dish was seriously yummy! The staff hooked us up with some great recommendations too—the stir-fried beef was super tender, and the chow mein was packed with goodies. Loved it all! The mung bean soup? Perfect for beating the summer! prices is friendly…

Located in a strip mall in a residential area. This restaurant has parking. Service is fast and they can cook delicious food. Must try when you’re in this area. We tried plenty of dishes.

Local Restaurant, Budget-Friendly, and Old-School Cuisine

It was my last meal in LA for this trip, and Cindy’s was our final choice! In brief, Cindy’s Kitchen offered delicious food at a budget-friendly price.

The portions were generous, especially the Beef Noodle soup – it absolutely must-have. The side dishes were also excellent and served as good time-killers. It seems this place is taken care of by only one friendly Ta-Jie (Big Sister). So food may take a bit longer time than usual.

Amazing beef noodle soups. I got the tendon beef (medium spice) this time. Everything was so tender and delicious. Amazing portions, delicious chewy noodles. And you can’t forget the house made pickled greens. I always add two spoonfuls. They’re always super sweet and kind. If you’re here, be kind to the staff. It’s a mom and pop shop.

Just found this place recently and it’s my new favorite now! The beef noodle here is amazing, they gave big pieces of beef which worthy the price as well.

The food was really good! I ordered several classic dishes and asked them to reduce the spiciness for my friends who are more sensitive to spicy foods, and it was about right. I would recommend you to leave it as is if you enjoy spicy foods, however. Their beef noodle soup was nothing special, but their fish and other dishes were amazing. I’ll have to come back to try their dumplings sometime, because I saw many people having it and I came during an off hour time. Parking was easy to find but it was a very small parking lot.

TAIWAN (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – The beautiful bowl of ground pork and mushroom over rice ($10.95) is a must order, the kind of dish you take a first spoon of and look across the table at your dining partner nodding your head. Both the mushrooms and pork are very finely chopped and spread generously over a pile of fresh white rice, but what sends this over the top is that it is not just lean pork in there. Instead, it is also joined by smoky pork belly, which really puts this version on another level no matter what spices its competitors are using.

Delicious! We got the beef noodle soup and the pork & mushroom over rice. The pork & mushroom was so flavorful and the marinated tofu was exquisite. The pickled mustard was a must with the soup. We also got gizzards and pig ears as appetizers and they were very tasty. Not very spicy but flavorful.

Traditional and authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Wide choices of local street favorites. Everything is so good except room for improvement on the Beef Noodles.

I have come to this locally run restaurant many times now and their food has always been consistent and cooked on time for pickup or dining in. Prices are still reasonable here and it will feed you for multiple meals for the week. My favorites here are the braised pork belly with tofu, the garlic eggplant and also now the cumin beef is very tasty. Their beef noodle soup and dumplings are also solid and will fill you up. I’m definitely a fan of the braised or stir fried dishes here. I have yet to try some of the preserves items here, but I will in the future.
