Our building was built in 1959 and Cindy is the name of the original owners daughter! The present owner reopened the diner in 1984 and she transformed it to the 50’s theme. We serve Breakfast each day ALL day and we serve lunch and dinner from 11am to closing. We are family owned and operated with three generations of family working within. The owner passed away in 2017 and left the business to her five daughters. We all work very hard each day to keep her dream alive!

Always looking for great homemade hash, and found it here. Crispy and well done on the outside, outstanding. The pancakes were also very good. Fluffy and hearty. The diner is small, but it’s accessible. Waitstaff is very friendly. Food is served quickly and hot. Lots of parking.

Such a cute little spot waitresses were really friendly and attentive food was hot fresh and quick. Lots of milkshake and coffee options and their deserts are delicious! And don’t get me started on the prices completely affordable and big portions enough to take home for a second meal. I recommend them to anyone looking for a special place to eat.

Cindy’s is PHENOMENAL!!! Went off a recommendation didn’t look it up just threw it in the gps and went straight there was pleasantly surprised with the old school classic diner feel. The service was fast and friendly overall fantastic just like the food. Greek omelette with multigrain and cup of fruit instead of home fries with a glass of coffee milk. In the wise words of R&B Superstar Usher on a 1 to 10 it’s a certified 20!! Go to Cindy’s and don’t thank me thank your waitress tip them extra for keeping this gem running! I’ll be back for the biscuits and gravy I saw the guy next to me order it and holy smokes looked UNBELIEVABLE

first off I definitely don’t give five stars to every single restaurant I actually do consider of a lot of factors when giving reviews so to start off.
This is a super retro diner! The women in servers and cooks and chefs are amazing there I recently was passing by it going up to Connecticut a few times and I thought to myself huh that’s cute I wonder if it tastes good over there and so this time I actually stop by and went in I was greeted almost immediately, and the ladies were doing some kind of contest involving Christmas songs so I thought that was kind of cool and cute it was a very friendly atmosphere the food is delicious as well as price friendly so you never worried about blowing out your wallet too much everything was definitely very reasonable given the inflation in times and definitely a place to stop by trust me this was one of the best diners I’ve ever had in my entire life so far and I’ve been to quite a few of them this is definitely one I’ll be stopping by every time I pass by Connecticut and haven’t had breakfast I wouldn’t choose any other spot for more information I’ll update this post later and correct any corrections that are needed definitely worth a five-star review and I will change my review based on how many times I go there and how often the service is met with the same quality.

Always packed is a sign they’re doing something right. 1st time going on 11/20/25. I got the Irish Benedict and my wife got the Really Hungry breakfast. We were getting full halfway through our meal. Loved their corned beef hash. Eggs were perfectly cooked and everything was tasty.

Classic diner menu and atmosphere meets all expectations for a great diner experience. This place has friendly staff, efficient service, and consistently good fare at affordable prices. Love that old school diner feel and a menu that mostly sticks to the basics of great diner food. We recommend any of their breakfast combo plates, since they’re generous serving sizes, and the banana split waffle as a decadent treat!
