I’ve loved exploring the new menu items Cinco now offers. Their new location is a great space to enjoy a quick business lunch. I recently tried their Italian sandwich and their smash burgers–both will be ordered again. This place has become my go-to downtown eatery.

If you are working in Downtown Columbus or in the area exploring, Cinco Mas is delicious! I stopped in for tacos and they were fantastic! Fresh ingredients and full with flavor, you can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. My favorites are their Birria Tacos, Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo and their Jalapeno Burger! They serve Breakfast and Lunch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would have to agree with some of my fellow Yelp Elite fam that I was confused about where to park and how or where to order. I would say that this location is very conveniently located for those who work downtown or are staying in one of the hotels in the area. For someone like myself who does not live or work in the area, I would not see myself making the trip due to having to find parking. Once I was able to park, I was not sure if I were to go to the ordering kiosk or the front counter. I purchased food in addition to what we received for this event. I went ahead and placed the order, then went to the counter to check in. The staff was very friendly and I ordered the pork belly tacos and a quesadilla. Both were super tasty and offered fresh toppings like onions and cilantro. If I or someone I knew was in the area looking for a bite to eat I would highly recommend this spot.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place by accident. We were attending a summit at the nearby theater and broke for lunch. We were heading to a close by well-known taco spot, but the line was so long. A lot of us had the same idea, apparently. We decided to venture a little further out, aimlessly walking down High street and I noticed the sign and no wait. Bingo! Upon walking in, we saw the order kiosks and intuitively started entering our orders, thinking it might’ve been like a ghost kitchen or something. After placing the order, we followed voices to where we assumed people were waiting on their food. But boom, it was a whole restaurant and an order line/Cashier. Saw a pick up shelf, and was a bit confused whether they’d call us, or if we had to go to the Cashier to let them know we were here. We took our seats and shortly after, a friendly staff member came with our food trays. Perfect.

I ordered a flour Street Taco and another but can’t recall the name, believe it was pork. Both were actually good. Nothing to really write home about, was average, but very tasty tacos. The pico was delicious, and fresh – enjoyed that. If I’m on that side of downtown, and the other taco place has a line – I’d definitely give this another try.

The new space is beautiful! And we sampled the Tres Leche and Flan at Taste of Downtown, they were both delicious but I look forward to ordering a whole pan of the Tres Leche the next time we have a celebration. It was SO good! Thank you for participating in the event and we can’t wait to come back for lunch again soon!

I am very sad I have to give it a 3 but let me start with all the good things first the customer service was great I was offered a sample to determine spice levels. The recommended item was very good and there was no wait even though only 1 employee was working. This is a family owned business and I definitely think you should stop in and try it the atmosphere is pretty great. Now the not so great things first if you are reading this it is not a sit down waiter restaurant it’s like Chipotle where you order then go sit down. Second I ordered the Birra Tacos which were really good I would have liked a side of sourcream with them but very tasty. They were 11.50 and you get 3. I also got the tri which includes salsa, Guacamole and a Queso. I would not recommend spending your money on this the Pico was a little spoiled or had a refrigerator taste, the Guacamole was great but the Queso was broken and did not have alot of flavor in addition to this the price on the board for this said $5 but I was charged 6 and I mentioned it to the employee but he just told me all the menu prices were changing and charged me 6 anyway I was very disappointed in it. 3rd I had water and ice with my water both tasted old and I was worried I might get sick from it as I have in the past from contaminated water that tasted the same. So it was definitely a mixed experience if you go here get the Birra Tacos, skip the Trio get one of their other items and maybe skip the ice but I did notify them about the taste of the ice. Walking into the building can be confusing as to which way to go. Thank goodness I had friends with me who had been there before. The staff was friendly and tried to be as quick as possible. I ordered the Birria Tacos and Guacamole with chips. If you’ve never had Birria before then these are for you. However, since I’ve had Birria elsewhere they were just average tacos. The consumé was more oily than soupy. Honestly, the best part was the Guacamole. After driving around for 20 minutes to find a parking spot, I was glad to have a decent meal.

First time eating here, ordered curbside. I loved it. We ordered steak supreme hard, and soft shell. I am a well done type of meat eater, so if you are too. I recommend requesting them well done. That’s the only reason they didn’t receive 5 star’s. We also ordered chicken supreme, and chicken regular both soft shell. These were my favorite. I would have more than likely loved them on hard shell. That one hard shell steak taco made me want to go back and ordered them in chicken. Family ate all the hard shells before I could get pictures.

The only bad thing I can say is the parking. The place is well lit. Food is pretty good. I have to pork belly tacos. You can order various ways when you come in. You have to kind of go to the right to find the place. Still not hard. Just look at the pictures and signs. If you go to the left. There’s ordering station then you have to come around to pick it up. They do have a TV in as well. Lit plenty of seating. You can sit by a front window and look out if that’s what you want. But again the only downside is the parking. It’s not a place you just say. Hey guys, it’s all meat down here because everybody’s going to be scrambling trying to find parking cuz it’s really not a lot. Maybe later in the evening it might be but they’re not open long hours on Monday and I believe they close at 8:30 throughout the week so you would have to come down after 6:00 when all the work crowd is gone to. Hopefully find parking if you’re coming in a large group of people
