This food was so good. I highly highly recommend it. It was extremely clean wonderful service. I cannot find one thing wrong to say about it. It was absolutely a great experience and I highly recommend you going and trying it out.

Great Mexican restaurant in the heart of Lexington and close to student apartments. The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were huge! Not sure if we would have eaten here without recommendations from UK students who have eaten (and enjoyed many frozen margaritas) here many times, and we are so glad we did!

The food was horrible. That is about the best thing I can say. The service was terrible at best. We could have gotten up and walked out with out paying and no o e would have known. She dropped the food and never came back to our table. The beer was warm had to send it back. I dont know if it that I am from Chicago and we k ow Mexican food but this place would not last a week by me.

I won’t lie, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in my life. The only reason anybody would like this restaurant is because their standards are so low, they don’t know what good food is or they’re the type of person that thinks well seasoned consists of salt and mayonnaise. I threw half of it away and only ate the first half out of obligation because I wasted money on it and had nothing else to eat at work for 12 hours and even then, I went hungry because it was better. I hate leaving bad reviews but our meal had so many bad elements.
My friend received the incorrect filling (beef instead of chicken), but when server finally returned and she mentioned it, the server asked her if she still liked it. My friend told her, not really.
No offer to fix
My steak carnitas were so tough and salty it was inedible ( see photo of what I received vs what I left)
The street corn dip was basically Mayo in a cup with corn on top
Not mixed, we couldn’t find any Tajin
Yes we could have raised a fuss to get all 3 dishes redone etc, but honestly we were done. And we shouldn’t have to have entire service redone.
I am not a picky eater
Thank goodness I ordered the queso with beef dip as that was very good so filled up on chips and dip
Visiting from out of town.
Nice atmosphere, no wait
Server was friendly but honestly clueless as she repeatedly came back before food came to ask questions on what we ordered.
Perhaps she was new
Still left her a good tip

First I will say, the location is nice, old style, friendly staff but now for the kicker my first time here.
What I ordered was correct but was cold enough to not even melt the cheese on the burrito as seen in the picture.
now as I inspected my food and saw my friends food, cold, all cold and looked like someone microwaved the food or it was old food as the color on others food was dull, asked to see if they would throw it back on the grill but was told it would be microwaved so I declined that, asked for a brownie, which is $5 but $6 IF you add icecream to the order.
Well, I got charged as IF I got icecream anyway as seen on the check……I Will not recommend this location nor will I come back, the only thing I see they got going are the waiters, great people.
I do hope however that they either improve or do better after what I had experienced, I never like to hope for a restaurant to fail purposely, so if your still reading this give it about a month for them to do so from this review then check them out to see if it has!

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. menu has a variety to choose from and really authentic. the staff is very courteous polite and efficient. the owner is very professional and polite as well. there are two locations in Lexington and both locations are EXACTLY the same.

Went this past weekend for the very first time and I will definitely not be back – considering the place was so jammed packed with drunk underage college students with margarita towers on their tables and everyone partaking — not just the person old enough to purchase alcohol. They placed me and my friends RIGHT BESIDE the speaker in the back room, at a booth with benches that was so scrunched together that we couldn’t even get into the booth. We never got waited on, we never got drinks, never got food, so we left. Unless you want to go to a bar with all kinds of underage kids that is packed to the gills – I wouldn’t even make the trip.
