One of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat! We typically call in a carry out order and it has always been correct, warm, and delicious!

Updated 8/2/24: Ate there a second time and food wasn’t nearly as good. The shrimp fajita still has 6 or so shrimp but hardly any peppers or onions. I ordered a chimichanga expecting a deep fried burrito but instead received a non-fried open face thing. Still charging $4 for a very small dish of their extra spicy salsa, whereas this is free at Blue Margaritas.
They did not offer us more chips and regular salsa after we finished both.
Past post: The lunch specials were good, prices typical. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our food came fast! Our only complaint is they charge extra for their extra spicy salsa, which is free at Blue Margaritas.

We ate there yesterday for the first time and the food was amazing!! We are big frequent flyers of Mexican restaurants that are local and close by so to have one in town and so close is the best! We tried the paella which had steak, shrimp, and chicken covered in queso on top of onions, peppers, and rice. We also tried the al pastor taco dinner and it came with grilled pineapple mixed in. I asked for an extra side of tomatoes. The chips and salsa was delicious and our chips were hot and fresh! A great location and you can tell they put a lot of time and effort inside the building. The bathroom was incredibly clean which is highly appreciated because some restaurant bathrooms are so gross. Definitely Ada and wheelchair friendly all around! We also tried the margaritas and it was sweet but not too sweet. We will be back for sure! Our meal was $40 for 2 dinners and 1 margarita which isn’t bad at all for today’s pricing and the amount of food we got!

Olivia, did a good job as our server. The temperature in the dining room was 63 degrees, way too cold. Wear your long underwear and warmest coat if you go there for a meal.

The service was very good. A little slow – but that’s because they were VERY busy – a sign of a good restaurant!
Their menu is extensive and seems very authentic. The Boss Burito with steak is a must try!

Excellent food and drinks! Only complaint was that I needed my husband to translate the waiter for me – I could not decode the spanglish. Lol. We’ll definitely be back!

Super friendly staff. Food was extremely hot and fresh. They have great salsa and pulled chicken. I would highly recommend going here over any place in central Illinois.

This place is wonderful. It’s a brand new restaurant and steps from my house. I finally got the chance to try it tonight. Service was EXCELLENT. The margaritas were very good and there was little to no wait for them after we ordered. I ordered the tacos al pastor. As the menu states they come with flour tortillas and an assortment of toppings. I asked if I could have them with corn tortillas instead. When I asked for corn tortillas, the server asked if I would like onions, cilantro, and salsa picante to go with. The spicier salsa was delicious!! I used every drop of the bowl I got. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area and I really hope they do well. I’ll be back here often.

I like Blue Margarita but Cinco is better. The service is a dozen times better.. me and fiancee have tried over 20 different entrees and nearly all were the best I had in area. Only place I eat all the grilled onions (use sweet one).

Their shrimp is huge and always delicious! Last night we tried the shrimp & scallops with LOTS of veggies in a rice with white cheese sauce. (Tortillas on side). Super good and very filing….
The shrimp quesadilla is also great.
It’s a bit chilly inside but the service folks move so quickly I’m sure they’re still warm.
Love all the Margaritas as well and hear the sangria is awesome.
