I don’t live in Poughkeepsie but will always ask my husband if we can stop here if we’re anywhere close.
I like their chile relleno with beef. It’s not too greasy and never mushy.
And the enchiladas are always good – again, never too greasy and great flavor.
The service is always very good. They are very attentive and pleasant.
They line the rim for their margaritas with colored salt to mimic the Mexican flag.
We just popped in for lunch the day after Christmas and the napkins were folded to look like Christmas trees.
I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food and great service.

Love it here! I am absolutely obsessed with their fajitas and always come here and get them. Their avocado and rice are always fresh and perfect. I love how this place is decorated and everything is delicious.

The establishment offers excellent Mexican cuisine, served promptly and at the ideal temperature. They provide a diverse menu with numerous options to choose from. It is undoubtedly a location worth visiting and trying. We highly recommend the blackberry margarita, which was exceptional. The chips and salsa are also delicious.

Such an inviting atmosphere. From the ambiance to the food, Cinco De Mayo 2 lives up to claims of Mexican authenticity 100%! Amanda and Antonio were the best hosts ever. They helped me through the menu for my first order with excellent recommendations. I’m writing this review after my 2nd time back in under a week!

This spot did not disappoint. We came in for lunch ended up having an amazing time. I ordered the chalupas along with a mango mojito and a strawberry mojito, both were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented (see photo!). My friend had tacos and a glass of red wine, and everything was flavorful and fresh.
The atmosphere is vibrant with colorful decor and great energy. Restaurant was empty and we were able to work and experience friendly and fast service.
Definitely a go-to for delicious food, fun drinks, and a great vibe.

Amazing interior decorations and generous portions of yummy food. We were greeted with free of charge quesadillas and offered a free desert at the end of our dinner. Salsa was too spicy for us but the rest was just perfect. We will try to get back to this place when we are in the area.
