The best Turkish food in the area as all other Turkish places focus on cheap, fast food. Cinar has the best food and quality and it tastes like fresh home made food. Everything in the menu is delicious. Now they have a great app for easy ordering. The service is always good there with warmth and kindness. This place is a true gem.

Cinar is one of those rare places where humility and true professionalism come together beautifully. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — effortless yet impeccable.
The food was outstanding. Some of the best fish and meats we’ve had, perfectly prepared and full of authentic flavor. We were a large group, and everything came out smoothly and with great timing, which says a lot about the quality of the kitchen and the team.
The starters were unforgettable, especially the sigara böreği — it instantly took me back to my childhood. Exactly like the ones I grew up with. The breads were also exceptional, fresh and delicious, and the desserts were truly the icing on the cake.
On top of it all, the Art Deco details in the interior design added another layer to the experience — turning our feast into not just a culinary pleasure, but a visual one too. The dim, romantic lighting creates the perfect atmosphere: elegant enough for a date, yet warm and welcoming for families and groups.

First time at Cinar Turkish Restaurant and it did not disappoint… Yigit, our server recommended the perfect dish for first timer at a Turkish restaurant amd all the dishes were delicious. He even gave some Turkish coffee as a service for dessert. I would definitely come back here.

Went not to Cliffside Park but to 575 W.Mt Pleasant Ave in Livingston, located at the end of a small strip mall, a little “hole in the wall” great discovery!! 5 of us shared a truly fabulous dinner! We enjoyed the mixed appetizer platter, which had baba ghanoush, lebni, eggplant, etc with pita- every item was delicious!! Thoroughly recommend the chefs special Borden Colette with lamb, the eggplant in yogurt, the petite cigars of Borek with feta, the schwarma, and everything else we ate. The use of fine fresh ingredients and careful slow cooking of sauces with rich flavor enhanced every dish! We topped it off with the creamy rice pudding and outstanding baklava. Service was perfect. Run, don’t walk, to discover this secret gem of gastronomical delight!! 10 stars!!

Cinar Restaurant truly feels like home. The food is authentic and full of flavor, just like in Turkey. The mezes are fresh and delicious, and the meats are tender and perfectly cooked. Grabbed the grilled platter and dip sampler to try out a few things our first time. All the meats were cooked to perfection and all three dips (hummus, babaganoush and spicy vegetables) were tremendous. Definitely worth adding on a few lamb chops to the platter. Grabbed the rice pudding for dessert and it might’ve been the best thing we ate all night. Service was attentive and friendly (shout out to our server, Can).
