Three jumbos and one medium fed 9 hungry Philmont hikers. Perfect pizza shop for crews from Philmont. 624LL 2021 ate here after our trek. Pizza was very popular from our guys. Some said it was the best they ever had. A gluten free crust was appreciated by one of our crew. Thanks For Dinner!

The best pizza for Philmont Scout Ranch. Speedy delivery 30 minutes without prescheduling. No need to schedule hours ahead like at the Philmont cantina. Take orders over the phone by a real person and not a machine. Super fast and friendly. Only place to order pizza for those at Philmont Scout Ranch.

The pizza we got most recently was half burnt, half super doughy. When we wanted to get pizza the next time the business post said it was open, but it was actually closed, and no one was answering the phone so the only way we found this out was to stop there in person. Not great service and mediocre food at best.

This place is amazing! You get to eat delicious pizza with a great view of the mountains. When my family went there, we met a crew of sea scouts that had just finished a trek at Philmont. It was a great experience meeting sea scouts for the first time. Lastly, this was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten!

Essentially a tasty pizza restaurant being run out of someone’s house where you eat in their front yard!
Pizza was awesome though. Good price.

Tasty pizza, but sub-par service and seating. You basically walk up and order at a window, but it’s confusing on how to get someone’s attention (there’s a door bell looking button you have to press to summon someone). The lady who took our order was not very friendly and didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job very much. She said it would take 15-20 minutes for our pizza (which was just a small pepperoni) but it took almost 40min to be ready. The drinks are just canned sodas. If you want to eat there, you have to sit outside and it’s rather buggy and hot. Not to mention the mis-matched tables and chairs don’t seem to ever be cleaned. I would recommend ordering ahead for pick up to eat at your own place if your craving pizza in Cimarron.

Don’t let the look of the place deceive you. The pizza is good. I would say the pizza is a 4 stars, no frill pizza. They don’t serve signature pizzas or specializations, such as grilled crust or stuffed crust, but it was good. However, you only have outdoor sitting and the staff did not seem engaged with the customer. I would also say it was a bit pricey for the quality. My guess is that is the result of the expense to get goods to the area.

Upon arriving, we discovered that it’s cash only; no credit or debit. (An ATM is within walking distance.) Upon ordering, we are told there are no wings or salads. We ordered a chicken ranch pizza which was good, but each slice only had one small piece of chicken, though plenty of onions and peppers. We also ordered the jalapeno bread sticks and those were good. No dipping sauce though — it costs extra.
