I’ve been meaning to try this place for over a year and was not disappointed! The customer service was impeccable, the restaurant was clean and had a lovely ambience, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The prices were competitive. The restaurant was quiet as we arrived an hour before closing (9pm). Our server Neylani was extremely personable, kind, patient & professional. At her recommendation I chose the two taco combination plate with mango habenera chicken black beans, rice & spicy cole slaw. The mango habenero was mildly spicy and delicious! Hub ordered a cheese quesadilla with rice & beans & a beer (Two Roads IPA) and the kids & grandkids each had two ground beef tacos. We had free refill sodas and free nacho chips with red & green sauce, which were fresh and crispy. The portions were slightly smaller than I anticipated, however I did not leave hungry at all. The food was filling, fresh & delicious. Unfortunately I did not get the chef’s name but he was smiling and graciously waved at all the kids before we left. I will definitely be returning! I would like to try the Carne Asada which Neylani also highly recommended; she said they run out very early so maybe I’ll make it a brunch lol. Really a great place all around, I absolutely recommend giving them a go!

Delivery indicates you get a small side of chips and salsa with tacos. I received no chips or salsa. All tacos were mediocre at best. Tofu taco was horrendous—tofu unseasoned, soggy, and the salsa had a very strong lime taste that was too overpowering. Shrimp taco was bland. Fish taco was extremely average. I added cotija cheese to one of the tacos and that was the best tasting thing out of my entire order. Hard pass.

I just ordered a burrito for takeout and it tastes like recession. It’s 85% white rice with no seasoning and no black beans (which I ordered and is on the receipt). I’m actually sad while eating this. Their horchata is good at least.

I’d hate to leave a bad review butttt …. I’m not sure if it’s because we ordered take out but the tacos were soggy, falling apart and did not taste fresh. The rice was over cooked & the Salsa was terrible … i will say the refried beans were pretty good but overall bad experience !!

Didn’t realize when we went in that it was not a sit down and be served type of restaurant, was pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of food. The rice was highly fragrant and cooked to perfection. The cook overheard me asking about something not on the menu and immediately offered to make it. The food was delicious and the establishment exceptionally clean . I never write reviews but this place was truly a delight!
