Absolutely amazing experience! My mom has decided that this is her new favorite spot lol. The complimentary fresh salsa with the chips was so good and full of flavor! I ordered a mango passionfruit smoothie and it was PERFECT—sweet, creamy, & refreshing. The vibe of the whole place is relaxing, warm and colorful, and the decor is beautiful. This spot is a hidden gem in Homewood. The reviews don’t do it justice—you gotta try it for yourself!

The service was great specifically the pickup order cashier Kendra. She was polite, kind and prompt with my order. My only issue was that my carne asada tacos were dry, meat & toppings missing. My stuffed Carne Asada tacos had cilantro stems only no leaf. The Beef Burrito was good but for $7.99 Wednesday special, it should come with at least one side. The plus side is chips and salsa for dine-in. Not as good as my 1st experience.

Don’t go they are very unorganized and ford comes out cold and not what’s expected. I ordered the skirt steak and got only a piece of the steak. Dude no hate I wanted to get a veggie burrito you know save the earth and all that but man… frozen broccoli??
What about some avocado, bell peppers or onions? Sour cream and cheese? Like all broccoli dude. And it was more expensive that chicken. Nice staff though and service was quick but dang. Did not taste like a burrito could have made a better one at home. Hopefully they change this lol.

I keep trying to give this place a chance but they keep disappointing! today was my last visit! The prices are extremely high for some of the menu items to not get food that is fresh or good. The shrimp was so overcooked it was not edible. The corn tortillas were hard and seemed like they were not even heated or they were old is my only other guess. Money down the drain! I will say my food is always terrible for takeout. Better chance eating there, but even then it’s a 50/50 chance your food will be tasty.

The food here is quite good, and I really want to like this place. Unfortunately, the service has been disappointing. We came in on a Tuesday hoping to enjoy tacos and margaritas, but things felt a bit unorganized. The staff seemed unsure about the menu and how to make the drinks. It seemed like take your kids to work day.
We were the only guests in the restaurant, yet our tacos still took about 45 minutes to arrive. They also ran out of pineapple juice and had to try to get more from a nearby store, which was unfortunately closed. Ordered a peach margarita which was clearly a traditional. But charged for the puree. And after they ruined our other drink they charged us for a soda.
This was my second visit, and the experience was similar both times. I’d recommend this spot for takeout since the food itself is good, but the dine-in service could definitely use some improvement maybe Chef Ramsey needs to Hell’s Kitchen this place..

The food was just ok but I’m giving 1 star also because I asked for Guacamole on 3 tacos and was charged $3.00 per taco. Then when I got home to view the order, the Guacamole wasn’t on the tacos. It was in one small cup that usually holds the free sauces. When I called and asked about it I was simply told well the large one is $18.00. No offer of a refund or anything. I will never be returning. This is dinner and shouldn’t be a money grab.

I’ve supported this restaurant for years, but my recent experience was unacceptable. I sat for about 10 minutes without being greeted, while customers who arrived after me were immediately served chips, salsa, and water.When the waitress finally came over, she was dismissive and made no effort to acknowledge the delay or provide the same service given to others. As an African-American customer, it was hard not to notice the difference in treatment.I’m sharing this because I’ve always liked this restaurant, but this experience needs to be addressed.

This was my first time going to Cilantro. It was alright. It wasn’t busy tonight. I guess, it’s after Christmas. Some people still have leftovers during the holiday. Lol. Yeah, when you first walked in. You have to wait to be seated. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and spacious. I love the decor. I got myself a drink and my mom. I order a Mai Tai and she ordered Lemon Drop martini. I honestly was looking forward to my drink, but once I took a sip out of it. I didn’t really like it as much. I felt like i didn’t get enough alcohol. Plus, when I think of Mai Tai. I think tropical flavor and vibrant color. When my mom got her drink. I was kind of shocked. The drink wasn’t filled all the way. It was like half in the glass, but the drink taste good. I personally would have like it if the glass was chilled. That way the drink still be fresh. The was delicious! I ordered fajitas of steak and shrimp with rice, beans, veggies, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese. With choice of tortillas. I went with corn. My mom she order taco dinner. Comes with three tacos and rice and beans on the side. Overall, I did enjoy the meal. Drinks, not so much. Maybe I’ll order something different next time. The service was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Would I go back? Yes, I would go back. They do have parking in front of the restaurant and in the back. You’ll see the sign that says public parking.

The food is really good but they have screwed up my order twice out of 4 times. This last time I ordered was carryout combo #6 which is supposed to be a full skirt steak and chile relleno. What they gave me was a steak taco, NOT A STEAK. Ok, I was disappointed, and I called but it was 9pm and they had closed. When I called the next day for a refund of the difference they REFUSED!!! I couldnt believe their stupidity, because I ordered quite often before and now they have made me so angry that I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.
