We had the Chateaubriand for two and it did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked. We added Bleu cheese and mushrooms and it was perfection. The broccolini, asparagus, mashed potatoes were also cooked to perfection. Saul was our server and he was the best. We were treated like family. Would definitely go here again

Took my wife here for a nice dinner for Valentine’s Day. We ordered the lamb and strip loin. Waited over an hour for our food. Everything was delicious and we tipped everyone heavily including valet to be generous. Once we were back in our room my wife complained of nausea and stomach issues. It’s been 2 hours and my wife is still throwing up and shivering in the shower. The lamb was either rotten or not cooked properly. Ruined our weekend and almost sent my wife to the hospital! Shame on you Bally’s! How unprofessional. 🙁 learn how to COOK your food!!! Cook should be FIRED.

Met two John’s: John the waiter and John the General Manager of the resort. John from the restaurant had worked here for more than 40 years. Legend, kind, quick, generous. John the GM: giving of his time, courteous, and also a Tahoe devotee. I actually found the prix fixe menu very fair. Delish beef tenderloin – we had enough French already in this review – with baby potatoes, fresh Al dente carrots – now we’re going Italian! Lava cake was rich and filing as was the bisque. Left happy and full.

Embarrassing experience. What a bunch of snake oil salesman. They tried screwing us out of our tab because we asked to split it. We waited 30 minutes and they messed with us like i’ve never been messed with before. Steer clear of this place.

Best steakhouse in the area. Crazy good service and awesome atmosphere! We’ve been here several times and they nail it every visit. If you go with the prix fixe menu it brings even more value to the experience. The food is always hot, perfectly seasoned, and the timing out of the kitchen is spot on. Highly recommended!

Had a great meal on a Holiday weekend. I was really impressed with Daniella our server.
And a manager who came to our table asking how our evening was and if we enjoyed our food and service. It seemed to me that they were really making the effort and cared.

Ciera restaurant is the hidden gem of this area of Lake Tahoe. What we anticipated was going to be so-so service and hotel steakhouse okay food turned out to be so much more!
I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. We had such an amazing experience that we went back for a second night. You’d never know that the area was suffering from such a severe labor crisis while dining here.
Service was over the top incredible not only from the individual waiters, but because of Daryl. This man is one of a kind. His whole team appears to be radiating sunshine. Honestly, it was almost bizarre. We loved it and so did the tables around us. You leave a happier person full of fairly delicious food after dining here.
I’ve worked with this industry for over 20 years and have dined in some really memorable spots around the world and this one makes the list.
When given a choice to eat anywhere in Lake Tahoe- opt for Ciera, but make a reservation first. Ask for Daryl and tell him Ariana you. Hopefully, it’ll make him smile. 10 stars for service!

This place deserves way more than 5 stars a category. We came here for my birthday. We made reservations a week early. We made it for 5:30. We went on Thursday for the pre fixe menu. If you want a nice private area, request a booth. They’re pretty big yet cozy and have high, beautiful drapes they close for privacy. We both said it was the most romantic restaurant experience we’ve ever had. All the food was delicious! We got French onion soup, bison carpaccio, escargot, lamb chops, steak with red wine demi, cheesecake, and chocolate lava cake. It was my favorite restaurant experience and food I’ve ever been to. Our waiter even gave me some chilled chocolate strawberries over dry ice, so it looked smokey and a birthday card signed by everyone. John, our server was impeccable! Lee has worked in restaurants his whole life and was very impressed with John. Very personable and gave us our space but always managed to come whenever we needed anything. His timing was perfect, too. Everything seemed so magical. I can’t wait to go back! 100 stars!

Vintage steakhouse. Red leather u-booths. Sinatra playing in the background. While antiquated, still adhering to high standards of prime choice beef and other staples of American cuisine. Pictured: Iceberg Wedge, Lobster Bisque, Scalloped Potatoes, 24 oz. Bone-In New York Strip Steak, Au Poivre (upon request).

My wife and I decided to take a long weekend and escape to Lake Tahoe. We wanted to have one nice dinner out and chose here. The Lobster Bisque and Seared Tuna we had to start the meal, were both outstanding. The Gorganzola and Pine Nut Sea Base was exceptional too. There was so much food, that we couldn’t finish it all. Our server John was friendly, knowledgeable, and stayed on top of everything. The only draw back was customers showing up in sleeveless T-shirts and flip flops. Come on people, respect a nice restaurant with at least a polo and blue jeans. We as consumers need to dress up a little more, if only once in a while.
