The hostess that seated was very nice. She brought us chips and salsa right away. The salsa was not very flavorful.It was about another 15 min before we received water and our order was taken. The food took a long time to come out compared to other Mexican restaurants and when it did it was just barely warm. The food was good though. Our water glasses were never refilled.

My kids and I have went here three or four times. The staff is friendly but service was slow. We went several weeks ago and will not return. We were the only customers, at this times. The waitress took our good and drink order. Brought us one drink and we never saw her again. The kitchen staff brought us our food while the wait staff sat in a different part of the restaurant discussing their plans for the weekend. We all needed drink refills but couldn’t get anyone’s attention to help us. We had to have someone look up our order so we could pay. Food was good.

Best margaritas I’ve ever had is here. Food on plate, each has it’s own taste unlike other places where everything on the plate taste the same. Only thing was too much salt on one item unable to eat. Waitress was friendly and did good job. Will go back.

I wish I could give it less. I started eating my Texas fajitas until I noticed a foul smell. The shrimp was bad. Both my sister and I noticed it. We’re both chefs so we knew instantly it was bad. She tried to make me more shrimp and argued that it was fresh and she didn’t notice the smell. I refused to continue eating the fajitas because of cross contamination worried I’d get sick. She still charged me for the food. I didn’t say the beans or anything. I ate one tortilla and she got an attitude claiming I ate the entire fajita. She then said whatever just leave it on the counter you don’t have to pay. I don’t mind paying for anything just give me good food. However,I will never go back off the fact you can’t establish the difference between good and bad shrimp. On the way out I hear her say “don’t bring customers like that back” as if I was wrong. That was very unprofessional and uncalled for. My sister now has diarrhea. Word of advice, smell your food and make sure it’s fresh and safe to eat.

Awesome service! My server was super polite, friendly, and very accommodating. The champagne margarita… where have you been all of my life?! I’m not a fan of Chile relleno fried in egg batter, theirs was stuffed with cheese and then roasted to perfection. Tacos were average especially for a Tuesday. I got the carnitas to go and was not let down for lunch when reheated the next day!

Best Mexican restaurant in Springfield by far!!! Today went with my family and service was fast, friendly, and polite. I always enjoy my visits to both locations but this one is becoming my favorite. Compared to Prima’s, Mexican Villa, or any other Mexican style restaurant, this one is superior.

Hubs and I went here on a very cold, sleet/icy day and we were the only people there lol. That being said, the service was great and the waitress was really good at anticipating needs and actually following through with refills, to go boxes, etc. I got the chimichanga and hubs got one of the burritos. While I liked the chimichanga, I loved the burrito and wanted to switch orders lol. The food and the service was great, pricing is reasonable and average for Mexican food in the area, my only criticism is that the salsa was room temperature. Not even a little bit cold, and that was weird and off putting. Otherwise, everything was great!

I come here quite often. It is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Love the mini taco salad option and the queso is the best, seriously! Salsa is very good and that is a compliment coming from a food snob.
