This is my review of Cielito Lindo after our visit in October 2025 — two adults and two kids. We found this place purely based on its high star rating and number of reviews. Honestly, it’s not the kind of spot I would normally just walk into by chance.
But wow — this place completely exceeded my expectations. We were greeted by a super friendly, service-minded lady (wish I remembered her name!) who also turned out to be our server — and she did an excellent job.
I didn’t take any food photos (except for the chips and salsa that came to the table). I also asked for some extra hot salsa and got two sauces that seemed homemade — both were absolutely on fire and packed with flavor!
The food tasted more authentic than what you get at most chain restaurants, and it was genuinely delicious. Prices were very reasonable too.
So really — what more can you ask for? Great service, good vibes, amazing food, and fair prices.
So if the waitress happens to recognize me — please drop your name here in a reply on Google, and a big kudos to you!

This place, if you didn’t know it, it’s a gem! The family atmosphere and quality of food are an absolute delight. I have been here now four times and I tried new things every time and have never been disappointed. I have taken friends over here and they all love it. The owner has established a great culture and it is awesome! I highly recommend this fabulous place!
Raoul and Ana are so good, friendly and accommodating. Everybody here are so nice.

Awesome service, food and drinks! Stopped in for a take out, chicken chimichanga, and ordered the Coco-mojito while I waited. Angela was my server, the entire team was wonderful! I can’t wait to go back.

This is the first time we have eaten here. We all enjoyed our meal. I couldn’t wait to cut into my chimichanga. I absolutely love Mexican food and I will have to say that most of them drop the ball and add sauce. Which defeats the purpose of deep frying it. Thanks for doing it the right way. Nice and crispy. I stopped by the other day and the door was locked. You were open. I did my business and left. I want to say. Hold in there. We are going to get through this. I think I don’t need to mention why the door was ICEd shut. Thanks for sticking with it.

A child wandered by our table several times, I think maybe one of the staff’s? 3% charge for card and no pricing on drinks was not appreciated. Flavors made the visit worthwhile.

This was an excellent experience understanding authentic foods from another beautiful culture. The dishes from the fish, to the ceviche, and from street tacos to the burritos. Everything was excellent, from taste to presentation.
The drinks were spot on, and the service was stellar. I would highly recommend this place as not only a trial stop, but a routine on your foodie lists.

Stopped here and grabbed food for dinner while on a trip and certainly enjoyed eating here. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was wonderful and filling, and plenty of options for items on the menu.

I visited some years ago and was anxious to come back. My first visit was incredible and this one was even better. The taste of the food is delicious, the service excellent and the prices affordable. The Pozole was great and the best fajitas that we have eaten. This is a hidden gem of Mexican food . Recommended.

I rarely give a negative review however I was just very unhappy with the food, and I felt as if they literally ripped me off with the Tres Leche cake that I ordered for dessert I should have known as I was walking out, and it felt like there was almost nothing in that to go package, but I didn’t look until I get back to my hotel room and when I tell you, they gave me a sliver of a piece that’s being generous not to mention they charge me $7.50 for this and it’s dry as a bone!
Service was excellent atmosphere was fine however, the nachos almost had no cheese and I asked for ground beef and unfortunately there was very little.
After I left a tip, my bill came to $38.26 and I simply ordered one nacho bravo two glasses of pineapple juice and a piece of cake.
In my opinion, this was one of the worst Mexican restaurant experiences I’ve ever had and I almost always go out of my way to leave positive reviews, but I just can’t find it in myself to give one to this establishment, especially considering how they took advantage of me on the dress like a cake.
I know for certain they took advantage of me because I saw the picture that others posted. I’m a positive note.
