Finally got to experience good pizza, I was told when I got to New Jersey even “ ok “ pizza from Jersey is better than anything we have at home. Seems to be very accurate. The pizza was great! Crispy thin crust, great sauce, gooey cheese and great pepperoni. Atmosphere was really cool for an old time pizza shop, great music playing. Lots of options for pizza per slice or an entire pie.

Ciconte’s is so much more than a pizza joint, although I did start out with a fabulous slice of Venician (4 cheese) pizza. I then enjoyed a delicious and generously large bowl of chicken tortellini soup, and finished up with a remarkable entrée of eggplant parmagiano with a side of penne (which I couldn’t finish, and instead took home in a “doggie bag”). Don’t be put off by the strip mall location and the middle class ambiance: the food is wonderful, and in Center City Philadelphia, or in Manhattan, you could easily expect to pay $45 up to $70 for what cost me less than $25. Finally: very comfortable dining section, 100% clean, and very classy service!

The homemade fried mozzarella is delicious! Just sinful, especially dipped in their marinara! Their pizza is also great. Looking forward to trying those jalapeño poppers next time! Awesome food here!

Had a surprisingly very good greek salad with grilled chicken. Pizza is better than mid but not top tier. Could depend on what you like though give it a try. They run good specials.

The staff are super friendly and the food is a good value. I’m a Jersy Shore transplant so my pizza standards are a little different than what seems to be popular out here. Pizza has a nice thin crust but the sauce and cheese were a bit bland for my taste, reminded me a bit of Elio’s. My rating is based solely on the pizza, but I would like to try some of their other offerings.

Awful service my father ordered a Hawaiian pizza and they gave him a pizza with cheese and bread!!! When I called back and asked them to fix it all they said was “unfortunately there is nothing we can do” I’ve worked in food service when i was younger and this is embarrassing how they respond to a mistake. Just about any other place with decency would find a way to fix it. Disappointed.

I cannot believe this was served to a customer. This pizza was inedible. The first slice was buffalo chicken – never saw buffalo chicken like this before, and the other was a plain cheese slice. It was old and nasty. I tried to eat it and couldn’t even eat it halfway. I’ve gotten pizza here once before, and it was not like this. I am appalled that this seemed acceptable to give to anyone. It should have been thrown out like I ended up doing. The staff is friendly but needs to be more mindful not to give out old, nasty pizza slices.

Me and my friend came during the $1 pizza on Tuesday. The pizza was ok and expected for being 1 dollar. We bought the whole pie for $8. It was thin and the flavoring wasn’t too great, but it’s fine. We used the garlic seasoning for extra flavor. The restaurant is small and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was great and the pizza came fast and fresh. It was a little busy, but that was expected.

Vegans Fall Back from this place!!! This is the second time between the Thorofare location and this one that I got tricked into biting into meat or cheese.
I ordered the vegan chicken parm but the first time around they accidentally put dairy cheese on it. I was annoyed but mistakes happen so I drove almost 20 mins back to pick up my order and they only gave me the remade sandwich. Thats where the problem began.
I threw the whole provious order out not thinking they wanted it back and then not asking for it back I thought they was going to make the whole order again including the fries and extra sauces.
When I communicated that with the broad working the register, her exact words verbatim along with a condensending demeanor was “Why would you do that?” I mean It’s not like they gave me a good amount of fries to begin with . If anything they shoulda threw in extra fries or offered a slice of tomato pie for my inconvinience caused by their screw up. Also not even considering that going back n fourth and waiting for them to fix their screw up, the first handful of fries the gave me were gonna get cold anyway.
I kept my cool and asked again for the extra sauces and fries and the manager made a face and caught a visible attitude with me as if they didn’t screw up my order and made me double back almost 20 mins. But they did end up doing the whole order again.
The second sandwich had much smaller pieces of “chicken” compared to the last samdwhich as if to be purposefully disrespectful. And to be honest the inside of the meat looked different than the last sandwhich texture wise it didnt have that vegan chickn breading look so im not even sure if it was vegan chicken or not. I was too done with them to call them back and dispute or even drive back, so I just threw the rest out and took the loss for the day. If your not sure if its Vegan, its probably not messing around with this place especially after the first time when they gave me a beef burger when i asked for a beyond burger.
If you’re vegan and thinking about coming here I strongly suggest you dont. Just support good life organic down the street or naked lunch at moms. This place offers vegan options but doesn’t know the difference between vegetarian, vegan, or non vegan. Plus the customer service is trash and they were unacommadating and extremely inconsiderate of the inconvenience they caused.
I’m never coming back. Apology not accepted. Hold this 1 star.

I had to stop to eat somewhere I wasn’t familiar with. I was so hungry, I stopped at a pizza place. You can’t really mess up pizza right? The answer is Yes. This place made me feel like I was having an out of body experience and not in a good way. I ordered the tomato pie and some chicken wings. The wings were just okay. At that point I had not eaten in 8 hours so yes the wings were alright. I have had wonderful tomatoe pies before, but you won’t find one here. I would have preferred they serve me the pizza box. I was served an extremely burned crust that was flavorless with some tomatoe sauce on it. The sauce sucked! The crust was so hard it was not chewable. After, a long trip and horrible pizza, I left my tomatoe pie on the table and left. I made sure I took a video and the name of the place as a reminder to never stop there again. I am a foodie. I do love to spend money on good food but this place won’t see me again unless I am shopping for cardbard.
