As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with enthusiasm. That is the customer service you should receive everywhere you go. They were patient with us, since we have never been. Even though they were pretty busy around 430pm, it was kept clean and they continued to keep the waste to a minimum, which was also nice. It never piled up as long as we were there. Duration of about 2 hours. They had a few games located in the back and my granddaughter loved it. We purchased a card from a kiosk located right outside the game room. They had great selections in the buffet, including a salad bar, several different types of pizza, as well as dessert pizza, cinnamon rolls and brownies. If you didn’t see the type of pizza you wanted, you could request it and they yelled out when finished. They also never let that run out, everything stayed refilled and the area around each item was kept clean as well. We’ll definitely be back. I’ll also recommend it to anyone going to that area.

An all-you-can-eat pizza spot? Sign me up! My girlfriend took me here a few weeks ago. It was amazing! I especially liked the apple pie pizza slices. Everything was super affordable and a nice place to be. Saw a lot of families out there, so it has a nice environment and vibe to it. The service was polite and friendly also.

We came today to the CiCis and had the best interaction with a young man, Alexis. His personality will get us back to this restaurant when our family comes back in town. The food was great also! Alexis made our night!!!!

We went today and everything was clean. The pizza was all fresh! Pamela came to each table to make sure every guest had what they needed. All of the employees were kind and helpful! Pamela just has something extra special about her! Great experience.

We were starving and decided to stop by cicis and have us some pizza. We haven’t been to cicis so we wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. The pizza was hot and fresh. I was not expecting the exceptional service from Pamela. She came around and made sure we never had a table full of dishes. And at the very end she gave my 3 year old a treat. We loved the family atmosphere and will definitely be back.

Extremely friendly & efficient staff. Worked as a cohesive team. Fast service. Especially appreciated the efforts of Hunter, Jasmin, William & Katie. I have severe social anxiety and my date had mobility issues as a leg amputee. They helped with small, quiet requests that made large differences in our evening. The turn out was incredible for a Monday night and I usually would have been easily overwhelmed and miserable. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE MONDAY NIGHT CLOSING STAFF.

UPDATE: originally two weeks ago I gave this location 1 star as we had an AWFUL experience (see below) but as stated we decided on a 3 strike rule, and tonights experience leaves us in a tie. Next visit will be the tie breaker. This time around, drink machine is still out of a lot of things, and ice machine still broken. HOWEVER they were so much better this time around with getting things out quickly and also the cleanliness. They were cleaning the bar between additions, a crew member was sweeping and clearing tables consistently. They kept the cheesy bread coming out. All of the pizza was MUCH better and not burnt and crusty as last time. Employees were friendly and doing a good job communicating on the needs of the customers. Good job cici’s, I hope our third visit plays out in your favor.

As a person who frequented pizza plus buffet, I know many in Gaston county were excited to hear that cicis was coming back. We gave them a week or two to settle in before giving it a try. We got here at 7 on a Sunday evening and it was not overly crowded. The price went down upon cicis return THANKFULLY because it Is not worth the old price. The place was filthy, understocked, and the workers look clueless. The lady cleaning tables passed the same 2 dirty tables twice and didn’t even look. They were out of coke, diet coke, and even the ice wasn’t refilled. Almost all of the pizza offerings were burnt, or looked very sloppily assembled. They don’t even appear to be cleaning the bar in between putting new stuff out. I SURE HOPE this evening was a fluke because otherwise I do not see myself coming back here. I MISS PIZZA+

The pizza toppings are incredibly minimal – like 1-2 bites if you to the crust away. The best part was the salad bar. Unfortunately, the counters and bathrooms were dirty and not well maintained.

Let’s see, where do I start?

Kid working the register rings up my food order for 4, then asks about which drink size I want. “A regular of a large?” Umm, free refills so why would I pay more for a large? I would buy a shot glass with free refills if it were cheaper.
Anyway…. So I go to pay for my order and I didn’t put the tip on my card because I had cash for the tip. The kid asks me where I put a tip, as he points to the screen then my receipt a few times. After saying “I’m going to use cash” 7 times, it finally registers in his brain. I’ll come back to this “tip” business in a minute.

Finally we go to see what pizza was offered on the buffet. The most basic, Cheese, is not out yet. No mac and cheese, barbecue chicken, cheeseburger, chicken Alfredo, nothing. Just your basic sausage, pepperoni, some weird shit with peppers on it, something with 3-day old ham on it, and I think I saw a couple Brillo pads being offered as Cinnamon Rolls. Cheese pizza finally comes out, none of the other pizzas that sets CiCis apart from every other pizza restaurant on the planet.
I finally go up and ask the girl behind the counter “Will there be a Mac and cheese coming out soon?”, to which she replies “we can put one in for you!, it’ll be about 6-10 minutes”. I said “great, thank you very much”. 6-10 minutes passes by and we go back up, no Mac and Cheese pizza in sight. After listening to the staff talking about how they “can’t shut the place down yet because there’s more than 5 people in the dining room”, mind you it’s 9:30pm, 30 minutes until closing time, we realized we’re not getting the one singular pizza we actually asked for. I didn’t bother asking for any of the others because clearly they weren’t there to actually do their jobs.

Back to the tip. So this kid that rang me out was really adamant about knowing where my tip was coming from. So, tell me, what exactly am I tipping you for?

1. I get my own plate
2. I get my own food
3. I get my own drink and refills
4. I returned all of our dishes and silverware(1 of the workers grabbed a plate from me on my way to put it where it goes next to the garbage)
5. Workers couldn’t be bothered to make a single “good” pizza. I could have went to Dominos if I was interested in a run of the mill garbage pizza that costs me $50+ to be disappointed. I only asked for one specific pizza and they wouldn’t do it.

So, what’s the tip supposed to be for? CiCis was always a good place to get some cheap, decent pizza because of the number of flavors they normally had. After a 13 hour drive today, this was more than a disappointment. The CiCis locations by us both shut down years ago, so we were excited to come here. Do better, folks.
