Walking past, I spotted the happy hour sign. Thursday from 4-6pm, the setting was low light, quiet and intimate with cosy seating.
The Italian waiters were super energetic yet perfectly balanced, leaving us alone when we needed it.
We started with a wine and spritz. The spritz was perfect, coming from an ex-bartender. Then we ordered the meatballs.
Get the meatballs! They’re flavourful, not too tomatoey and incredibly juicy, meaty and cheesy. You need to try them.
I’m not sure why this place hasn’t received more reviews or become a hotspot yet. It’s definitely my new local spot.

By far, the best Italian place in the city. The pastas are insane!!!! especially the vegetarian lasagna and the Cacio e Pepe with black truffle. The fish with the potato gratin on top of it is also phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with the gnudi as well.

As a tipical Italian arrived late to my dinner. (10.06 pm). Staff was super kindly( hard to find at 10.06pm) and, the ambient made me feel like i was in one of those “trattoria” from back home, Italy of course. The tagliatelle alla carbonara, what a choice.. probably one of the best in the city. And i really loved getting my glass of wine before the tap water.. i place to come!

Love the easy going atmosphere, and the Focus is on the food. The food was great and I can’t even remember having GF Pasta that tasted so good. I will definitely be back.

This is by far one of my favorite spots. I’m not even a fan of Italian food but this is the freshest, light but flavorful Italian I’ve had. I’ve tried so many things on the menu and everything has been delicious. Although I do have my favorites. The bartender is really quirky and fun! The inside of the restaurant is so cute and cozy! And even the outside seating area is beautiful. It’s always a win here. I visit biweekly!

Excellent restaurant!!! Great staff, great drinks, amazing food. The outdoor seating is really nice you’d never know your on 6th ave. We started with the ceaser salad, apps we had tuna and meatballs. Dinner my wife had ravioli with pear and I had gnocchi with clams and pesto both were phenomenal. We ended it by sharing an affigato and tiramasu, what a great way to spend our anniversary, we will definitely be back!

Hidden gem. Real Italian, no fuss, no show. Feels like a neighborhood secret, kind of speakeasy, no tourists. Food is fresh, simple and full of flavor. Giacomo the owner is a true gentleman. Kind, welcoming and cares about every detail. You’ll want to go back.

Such a good service!!!!
They figured I didn’t like my pasta just by my facial expression and came to the table to check in. I don’t eat pork, and there was pork cheek in my pasta. And as soon as I tasted it, I got confused. I didn’t read the menu good enough.
So the server said, “no this pasta isn’t it for you” with a kind tone and asked me what I would like to have instead. I got a replacement quickly after.
My colleagues and I were pleasantly surprised.
The interior is so cosy, the food is tasty!!
The eggplant starter was SO good, and I liked the tagliatelle the most

My friends and I stopped in at CICCIO Bar & Alimentari for the first time. It was absolutely incredible. Our server was friendly, and her suggestions were spot on. Everyone in our group raved about their food selection. The wine list is excellent. And the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Highly recommend eating here!!
