Overall was not as good as we were expecting. A nice Italian restaurant caprese should have heirlooms or just tasty tomatoes, these missed. Focaccia was good with the pesto and oil. Lasagna was actually great. The service was very unfortunate. Server had a strange “I’m overworked” attitude. Bread came way after the food. We were just neglected. Oh well. Good thing John Mellancamp performance was epic.

A beautiful restaurant! Loved the decor. Our server was very friendly and very good. Attentive but didn’t hover. He recommended the Salmon when I was undecided between it and another dish. He also assisted us with our wine choice (and no, it wasn’t the most expensive one!) which we appreciated. He was aware we had theatre reservations and was prompt but didn’t rush us. The food was excellent. My salmon was cooked to perfection. Others in our group had the cheese ravioli in Bolognese and said it was very good. I thought the prices were ok for the type of restaurant and today’s world.

The bread, salad, and drinks were the best part. Both of our entrées had unexpectedly odd flavors, but we overall enjoyed our meal. Servers and staff were very hospitable.

We come here before every play for years and the last 3 visits have been awful. Employees arguing in front of customers, servers don’t greet the tables in upward of 15 minutes, get done eating your meal still have not gotten your appetizers, food comes out cold, can not get a refill of water to save your life. Use to be one of my favorites I hope you bring back your food, service and quality.

We went to Cibréo after a matinee show, for early dinner. The host, whose name I unfortunately can’t remember, was incredibly accommodating and kind. Our server Lauren was super professional & attentive. She was calm, organized, friendly, and anticipated things that we needed without even having to ask. In fact, hilariously, my mom loved her so much that she even suggested we become roommates in the middle of our meal (lol). I’ve been in the industry most of my life and I, along with my whole family, was very impressed with our service from start to finish. And the food was excellent! We had a white bean soup, caprese salad, a few different pasta dishes, the salmon, and a braised short rib special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & delicious. The complimentary focaccia was great as were our cocktails and dessert. We will definitely come back to Cibréo next time we go to Playhouse Square, and we’ll recommend it to friends as well. Thanks to all of you for helping to make our day really lovely & special! Merry Christmas!

Delicious Italian food in a cool, rustic setting. Nice location across the street from the theaters. I was able to walk in and sit at the bar…normally need reservation for a table. Had the porcini, sausage and bean soup and the porcini and truffle ravioli. Both were very good. Service was nice and food was pretty quick. Bread was very good too. Will definitely be back.

The ambiance is lovely. We enjoyed the fried calamari, shrimp and scallop appetizer. We ordered the chicken marsala and the pasta pappardelle bolognese dish….all fantastic. The bread is great quality and delicious. Our waiter Mike G was perfect in every way. Great location for the theater district.

This place was very good and loved the chicken alfredo. They also accommodated my special request for a surprise proposal I was planning. The service is fantastic. Would recommend

We had a reservation prior to a show. The restaurant was packed, the service was terrible and the food was cold and underwhelming. The vegetable portion of our meal was completely missing. No one stopped back to check on us and after another 30 minutes we had to ask for our check. When we brought up our issues with the manager he stated you should have brought this to our attention sooner. There is nothing I can do now. Not the response you expect when you spend $170 on dinner. Terrible customer service. We are season tickets holders for the Broadway Series and will not be going back.

In Cleveland for business and decided to take a chance at Cibreo in spite of the mediocre reviews, since it was close to my hotel. Sat at the bar and was greeted by an off-putting aroma – couldn’t quite figure what it was. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese which was swimming in an odd looking orange sauce and was horribly overcooked. The pasta was mushy and literally fell apart as I picked it up with my fork. Needless to say, I sent the plate back and wasn’t interested in taking a chance on a different entree item. I appreciated the bartender and manager crediting me my check amount but I was left without dinner for the evening on the road.
