We haven’t eaten too often in the Boerne area, but will be here more often and decided to try this place. I search for a gluten free optioned restaurant and choose it based on the glowing reviews. The atmosphere is fun with plenty of outdoor seating, which I prefer. Coming in to a new place with non traditional restaurant service, there is a small counter to order and an unclear sign that tells you. The staff was unfriendly. All of them. The gentleman taking the order had to go ask if what I chose was gluten free after asking the first guy who nonchalantly stated I could eat a burger and get a gluten free bun. (If you are asking, what’s the problem with that? Consider how fun eating out would be if you were told one thing was safe for you, but that wasn’t true — they just don’t know and don’t care to). If the manager reads these reviews, every employee should have a good idea of what food allergies are and what your restaurant has. Basic info! And these weren’t kids, that were middle aged adults. So if the reviews point to a gluten free friendly restaurant, this definitely wasn’t. The drink options weren’t ideal being small cups, no pre sweetened tea, bottled drinks, no refills…except water and unsweetened tea. I ordered the nachos and my husband ordered a Reuben sandwich. The fries were very good, everything else was edible at best. Our food was delivered by two different people as they were done, which I like, but both of those people also were unfriendly— no smiling, talking, asking if we needed anything. Based off the general unhelpfulness of every employee, I’m guessing leadership is lacking. We won’t be back.

Excellent burger. I had the CCB Goat Burger on a Pretzel Bun. It was fantastic. All the flavors meshed so well. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten (like I will be thinking about it for a while). The fries were not standard fries. They sort of were curled and seemed to be cut differently. They were crispy and kept the crisp hours later as I took it to go. I let my fam try it and it got eyebrow raising responses.
I had their double IPA and it was very good. The beer choices covered all the bases for options you’d expect, with a few interesting brews to keep it unique. They had about 8-10 on tap choices. They even had canned beer to purchase. I did not see if they were the same beers on tap.
Staff was nice, helpful, and I seemed to have been helped out by several different people which was great because I felt like they were all ready to help when I needed it.
I went at an off time but it seemed like their set up doesn’t use servers. You order by the bar and have the option of keeping a tab open. That seems like a system that would make it bogged down during busy times but that’s just a guess. Lots of seating with half of it outside. It was a quaint spot that gives off major Boerne vibes that has amazing food and good beer. I look forward to going back and trying more beer (which they let you try samples, I didn’t because of time) and some more items on the menu. Hope this helps.

This has become one of my happy places. Every single thing I’ve eaten here has been delicious, whether it was a current menu item, or one of their featured items. Now, what I can’t get enough of, the one that keeps me coming back, is the Pastrami Rueben. They smoke the pastrami on site, and oh my, does it set it apart. I am now ruined for all other pastrami. It is full of flavor, a little smoky, and perfectly cooked. Wonderful sauerkraut braised in their Blonde beer tops the pastrami. The rye bread is also well buttered, and expertly toasted. Again, my happy place. Thank you guys for making some stellar food!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beer and the food! Great staff, too! We had the right hand milk stout, chicken salad sliders, and a farro salad. The salad was filled with proteins and enough for two meals.

Food is awesome and we really like the crunch on the fried chicken sandwich with some great sauce of your choice. Portions sizes are great and the seasonal bears are great. Take a look at the menu and if it intrigues you give it a shot!

We’ve been to Boerne many times but decided to try Cibolo Creek Brewing for lunch today. I had a burger and my wife got the chicken salad slider and salad special. TLDR everything was delicious, my burger was cooked perfectly and the fries I could have eaten 10 pounds of them. The chicken salad sliders were awesome too. The location is right on Main Street so it’s super easy to walk to from any of the shops as you’re walking around. They have seating both inside and out. We had had our dog and they had water outside and were very welcoming to pets.

I love Cibolo Creek Brewing Company! The food is always delicious and service is always top-notch! I enjoy trying all the seasonal and regular brews, and of course the menu selection along with special menu items.
The service can’t be beat. Hector, Mallory, Mary, and Moses are each a great addition to the front of the house, and they keep it fun.

I stopped by here with 2 friends for a quick bite and a drink. One of us got the burger and fries and absolutely loved it; another got the chicken wings but wasn’t too impressed; I got a pork taco, which I found to be good but not amazing. We each had a beer or cider, and those were good. The service was good, and sitting outside was lovely.

One of my favorite spots in Boerne!
Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious — no matter what you order, it’s always flavorful and satisfying. Their craft beer is also excellent, with great variety and taste. Even when the place is packed (which is often!), the service is impressively fast and the staff is always friendly and attentive. It’s one of my go-to places to eat, relax, and enjoy a great time in Boerne.
