Food was AMAZING. Flavors came together so well and was so natural but sharp. Texture was really good on the entrees. I got the spaghetti ragu. Liz was very welcoming and her vibe instantly made the place feel like home—instantly my go-to spot for Italian food whenever I’m town.
Atmosphere – homey, lowkey; perfect for lunch with a friend or a quiet dinner date.
P.S — she gave us and a friend these home cooked meatballs she made herself and they literally melted with flavor!!

I love this place! So cozy and the people are so down to earth. The food is surprisingly good for the price. The Sicilian is the best sandwhich! You can really taste the quality. And they stay open super late which is so rare and we need more places like that!!!

The people here are awesome. They will always have a conversation with you if you’re willing and they’re never rude or rushing you. As far as the food, it is incredible and all the ingredients blended so well. The Reuben and the Sicilian are my go to’s. And the atmosphere is amazing—I don’t usually dine in, but I did once and felt comfortable and the food was even better.

My girlfriend and I were looking for food nearby after work and decided to try Italian for the first time. We weren’t disappointed! The food is freshly made with a short wait time, and the spaghetti and meatballs were phenomenal. My girlfriend loved their homemade Italian sauce so much that she’s already insisting we go back!
The owners—a kind gentleman and lady—were so friendly and patient while helping us choose our meal. We had a great conversation and felt very welcome.
10/10 Highly recommended!

CIBO makes the best Italian sandwiches in New Orleans. Hands down the best place to go for a late night bite – even after hours! Their staff are wonderful people. My friends and I come here all the time.

I love CIBO! This place has such a nice vibe to it, and it’s a reliable late-night spot. I highly recommend the signature Sicilian sandwich, it’s incredible! Liz is super friendly and it’s always so nice to catch up with her when I come in. This is for sure one of my favorite local places, check it out the next time you’re hungry late at night

It is my first time at cibo, it was 10:30PM and I had no plans for dinner. I was accepting the fact that in New Orleans, you will find only fried or greasy food available at that time. When I passed by cibo, I looked up the menu, almost too good to be true. I got salad and meatballs, they were both delicious, light, healthy, and high in protein. The crew was very friendly too, they even offered to turn on the tv for me. Salad, meatballs, chips, drink all costed $36. Totally worth the value. Would definitely recommend.

Picture this. It’s 1 am, the guys are DYING of hunger after driving 20 hours to New Orleans. Our sights land on Cibo, we each order the Sicilian sandwich. MIND BENDING. Every desire in our beings that we could possibly possess melt away, the sandwich did it all. Not only did the sandwich halt my hunger but it made me a better man.
