I grew up in an Italian American restaurant in New York, and as kids our parents every Tuesday, their only night off, took us out to dinner. We either ate Chinese food or Italian. We got to experience how other Italians made the dishes we liked.
Through the years though, I have grown disappointed with Italian American restaurants, especially in Central Pennsylvania, where I live. My husband is from South Africa, so he is not as discerning about Italian food as I am. To him it is still new and exotic.
When we were in the Boston area I. Our way to Maine, he recommended Ciao Amici, in large part because of the high ratings on Google. Still I was skeptical
Ah, but I was pleasantly surprised by innovated dishes and options not often seen on other menus.
The beet and mozzarella salad was superb. The pasta we each had was homemade with excellent seasoning.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
Oh how I wished I lived closer; I would be a regular every Tuesday night!

This place has excellent food. Everything i ate was delicious. The fresh pasta & gnocchi are cooked to perfection. The sauces for all dishes were sooo flavorful. It’s a small quaint atmosphere. Our server, Mateo, was extremely friendly.

I was traveling from out of town, and I wanted to stop by for a pasta dinner. This place did not disappoint. Service and food were wonderful. The atmosphere was good, and it seems to have an old charm that might share some family roots. Either way, wither you’re in town for business or pleasure, even local. You trust this place on good pasta dinners and Italian foods.

Food was pretty good, enjoyed the lobster ravioli. Service was polite but inattentive even though not very busy. The cocktails were tiny, full of ice and not very good. I wasn’t impressed with the dining area, seems like a popular take out spot which might be my next approach.

Great experience at this hidden gem in Wakefield. We had a party of 11 on Christmas Eve and everything was excellent. The food had great taste. The calamari was excellent, plenty of warm bread while we waited. I got the Scallop, Shrimp , Lobster special, I would make that a permanent menu item.

We came here to celebrate a family birthday and had a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant! The ambience is peaceful, and the service is excellent. All the dishes we had were wonderful. Come try this place, you’ll be glad you did!

Grilled Octopus is amazing, the Pollo Imbottito and Risotto mare e Monti are both delicious especially when paired with a great bottle of Montepulciano. Top it all off with Tiramisu and Pistachio Martini and that definitely makes for a great night.

If you like Italian food, you probably know what I’m talking about. I ordered takeout, the container is ridiculously small, the carbonara pasta is very greasy, it tastes bad, it has a taste of something greasy but not carbonara, you can definitely see who is cooking, don’t know how to make it, my pasta had a brown sauce and tasted like oil, I never see carbora with brown sauce, terrible, the cannoli looked like whipped cream, it tasted like absolutely nothing, the picture online looks great but the taste is terrible, I wish I had my money back, disappointed, I will never buy from this place again, I definitely do not recommend it to anyone.
