This place is now called Chuy’s Taqueria, but not the Tex-Mex chain called Chuy’s. They said it’s under new ownership and they have a food truck by that name and they’ve merged the concept with the previous Mexican restaurant that was here. Since it’s a taqueria, I just wanted to pop in for some to-go street tacos. They were good, but at $4.29 to $4.99 per taco, you can get the same quality much cheaper, especially for taco Tuesday, and they don’t have any specials. $5 is pricey for a food-truck style street taco. I posted pics of the new menu for easy reference since I couldn’t find it online.

Best place to chill and drink! Chori Fundido dip is where it’s at as well their draft beer and margaritas. Me and my wife come here whenever we have downtime shoutout to Edgar for taking care of us !

I ordered the *Chicken Guacamole Salad* and chose the shrimp option instead of chicken. Based on other reviews saying it was one of the best items on the menu, I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing.
For around $20 including tax, the portion was extremely small. It came in a tiny pan with mostly plain lettuce, barely any cheese, no tomatoes, and no guacamole at all. The shrimp were just placed on top without much care or flavor.
When I called the restaurant about the missing guacamole, they told me their online system wasn’t working—an excuse that really didn’t make sense, since they should clearly know what’s included in their own menu items.
The meal was more like a small side salad than a main dish. For the price and what I received, this was not worth it, and I don’t plan on ordering from there again.
Good Luck at this restaurant!

The food is way overpriced, the quality of the food is sub par and the serving sizes are terrible. I got two carne asada street tacos for just over $10 after tax. They tacos were tiny, the taste was not bad but by no means $5 a taco good. It did not come with any rice beans or anything else. If you are charging $5 per street taco they better be excellent. These would have passed for $1 street tacos but I would still have been dissatisfied with the taste, I would not have felt ripped off tho. This place needs to either lower prices or drastically improve the quality of the food and the serving sizes along with altering some of the recipes to make them tastier. Customer service was not bad tho and it was quick to get my food so that’s a plus. All in all if you want to waste some money go here atleast the food will come out fast, if you want great food at a much more reasonable price go anywhere else. Taco Bell although not authentic would be a better choice, much more bang for your buck there.

A friend and I came for lunch. This was our first time coming since new ownership, renovations, and changes to the menu. I can honestly say the changes made were made in a positive way. All the way from the environment to the customer care ( shout out to our servers Taylor and Rowan who took such good care of us-and the manager Chris that seems to have everything in order) . And the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the homemade guacamole and tuna tartar for our appetizers. Everything was super fresh. We both ordered the shrimp fajitas and Mahi tacos and we both were very happy with what we received. Definitely will be back!!

Texas margaritas were ok but my tacos needed more flavor. I found myself adding salt and pepper to all of my tacos. They do have $2 taco Tuesday. However, you can only get beef and fish tacos on the special. They do have a few other tacos on the menu that looked good so I wouldn’t mind going back to try those. Our waitress was very nice and attentive – I regret I don’t remember her name.

What a rip off. They charged $6.00 for chips and salsa! The salsa was so bland too, I had to ask for some hot sauce for flavor. Most Latin restaurants include chips and salsa. My lunch combo was $12.00 and only came with 1 taco and 1 enchilada. There were no rice or beans. The cheese enchilada was not the god melty cheese. It was almost like mozzarella and very bland. Not good. The taco was at least flavorful. Overall, I spent $24 after tip for a bad meal in a freezing cold restaurant. I could have had an amazing meal somewhere for that price like sushi. Or 2 giant Chipotle burritos. I can’t recommend this place for anyone.

Alright. I know it’s a weird spot and the last place didn’t do well. They’re getting their feet under them and they’re working with limited servers. Go get a beer and the tacos birria. Absolutely fantastic. Will return!

We came in once before and I didn’t like it. I moved from Colorado so the smothered burritos are different. We can here after shopping at Ingles. I had the special fish tacos and really liked them. My husband had the chicken burrito Tamarindo and he would say great. I think prices have gone up drastically. Prices are under $20 but not by much average $16 to $18
Service took a long time to seat us. A family came in afterwards and left since no one attended them.
