I spent over $38 for 2 plates, in Spanish and English ordered taquitos and got tacos (strike 1) I even asked when I picked up my order if it was taquitos and he said yes. (Strike 2) the food had no taste at all!!!! Had to mostly throw away one of the plates cause it was too spicy! Burped the food all night long, upset stomach. (Strike 3) didn’t even bother calling to complain cause I knew I wouldn’t get my money back!! First and last time going here

Chuy’s was a randomized pick for local Mexican food while visiting Pitzer College.
The food was perfection.
Clearly home made everything mixed with very friendly staff (owner?) and clientele.
As we sat and ate multiple families, tradesmen, and locals started piling in. Everyone knew each other and it was an enjoyable people watching moment.
Highly-Highly recommended.
We started with 3 Chorizo tacos, and a platter of Asada, Pollo and Al Pastor tacos. Then, we were still a little hungry and decided to try Barilla tacos and they were sooo good.
They also had Mexican coke and Squirt for wash it all down.
I would highly recommend you stop and grab a bite at Chuy’s.

Over 30 minutes for a single burrito I called in ahead of time was told it would be 15 minutes arrived. Had to wait another 20 minutes before my food was ready on top of that. The guy kept saying my food was almost ready when it’s clear it hasn’t even Gotten started. He should’ve just been honest with me and told me that he never put my ticket in after I called in and that it would be 15 to 20 minutes don’t patronize me and tell me my food is almost ready. I’ve been waiting 30 minutes.
