My review is based on a Home Town BBQ or (hole-in-the-wall) which is an inconspicuous small restaurant. First impressions of the place and location it doesn’t blow u away as a fancy or city style place. But I come from a very small country town so seeing this was like seeing a restaurant that would be in a small town. Once I got my chopped brisket sandwich and fries the fries look a little sad to me I tried the brisket first and it has a bit of spice to it without bbq sauce. I’m not big on spicy food, but it was very tasty and wasn’t too much. I tried it with bbq and it popped and combined nicely together. I was very impressed by the bbq brisket. I then moved on to the fries which didn’t taste as bad as I thought they would. The fries are homemade and look limp and if u add salt they taste ok. When I come back I’ll get chips instead of fries. I then tried some chicken from someone across the table and it was very juicy in some spots and a little dry in other spots. It was very good chicken when adding bbq sauce it really compliments the taste. Some of the plates like the bbq brisket sandwich plate and bbq half chicken plate have good quantity with amazing taste and the restler breakfast burritos had amazing tastes as well. I highly recommend testing the bbq food at this restaurant it is pretty impressive, and I will be coming back when passing from Weatherford to Mineral Wells.

A family-run restaurant on the side of the highway. Restaurant is on the small side but has a casual southern charm to it. I had originally two breakfast tacos the first having beans, sausage, chorizo, and cheese. The second taco was their brisket taco. The 1st was cheesy meaty goodness- the beans are well seasoned and could be eaten as a meal on their own. The tortillas are wonderful here. The brisket was crispy with grilled onions and jalapeños.
The tacos were so good I had to come back in and order more for later. Drove nearly an hour to come here after seeing this restaurant on Mike Chens YouTube channel and I have no regrets- definitely will come back.

Good tacos, good ribs. Decent prices. Great tea. Colleague had the brisket – looked tasty. Rib meat fell off the bone. Taco had great flavor – nothing crazy – big portions on the taco.

I had the 3 meat plate. We all know that getting brisket in a restaurant is sometimes a crapshoot. One time it can be great and other times — not so much…
I have been here twice and both times the brisket was tender and melted in your mouth. The meat fell of the ribs when I picked up the end of the rib. The spicy sausage was just that, but with a wonderful smokey flavor too.
My wife had the Small Chuy loaded potato with the brisket and cheese on top, while my daughter had the quesadillas.
We all left as stuffed — and very happy — campers!

I got spliced brisket very tender but dry, not much smoke flavor. BBQ sauce was just ok. Mac n cheese is box not homemade, beans were pretty good.
Wife had brisket tacos were same as brisket not bad but dry.

Great tacos and BBQ! We were camping at Lake Mineral Wells and saw this place on the side of the highway and had to make a stop for lunch. We ordered a taco plate and 2 meat plate that comes with 2 sides which was a whole lot of food. The brisket was delicious as well as their charro beans.

The brisket is a bland, taste like they only season with salt. The chicken is on the dryer side. The ribs are good, and the tortillas are awsome. Potato salad is on point. Servings are below average. I can see why locals come, the old timey vibe is awsome.
