Queso was delicious and Margaritas were strong. I liked the beans, pretty picky about rice to begin with. Server was nice and polite, but was in a huge rush which as a former server I understand, I just hate feeling rushed through a meal we spend good $$ for. If I wanted fast food, I’d go to Wendy’s ♀️

Our group meets every Monday. We decided to give this one a try. Went with a large party (group of 10). Usually when we go in large groups I am very forgiving with the wait staff. It is hard to wait on large parties. I know large groups can be demanding. It was a weeknight, no wait and not very crowded for this location. But still had many people here.
Our server brought our drinks and than dispersed. I know he has other tables. It was 20 minuets before he returned to take our order. No big deal. We sat and talked. Asked for refills and more salsa. Waited and waited. But he just kept disappearing on us. We kept going to the bar for our drink refills. And kept asking other staff members for things. They would get annoyed with us when we did. Most of them ignored us.
We ended up waiting 50 minuets for our food. And he still left out one of members dinner. We were all done eating by the time our last person received his dinner. He never apologized for the long wait, or said he was busy with other tables. Manager never game by. Nothing. I have no clue where kept going. It was all on one check, tried to make it easy. But he was struggling. Removed this restaurant from our list of places to eat. I would not visit this location again even if it was just me and my husband. But I am excited to try the new location by us. Maybe they will have better service.

Such a great experience every time we come but when we see Gloria, it’s hands down the best service. She treats everybody so well.. she is most down to earth and funny! We love Gloria so much.. I vibe so well with her personality and she makes us feel at home and want to come back to see her. We’ve even asked her schedule to come back when she’s back on schedule so we can be put in her section. Thank you Gloria for such great service and entertainment! 🙂

Food is usually good to very good. I had the Burrito Bowl at this visit and would not recommend it. It was just ok and there are better items on the menu for the same or less money. The noise upstairs is very loud when busy. I don’t know how the downstairs compares. The service was slow at this visit. It took 15 minutes to get a chance to order, 30 minutes for food to get to our take, 15 minutes to get the check after to-go boxes were provided, and then another 15 minutes after we got the check to get someone to take payment. Counting the time spent eating, our party of 3 people were here just shy of 2 hours.

My wife and I stopped by Chuy’s after some holiday shopping and had a great experience. We ordered the fajitas and quesadillas, and everything was excellent. Our server Peyton really stood out, she was super friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. She recommended getting steak in my quesadillas and said I wouldn’t be disappointed, and she was absolutely right. Everything came out right on time, and we never felt rushed.
If you visit this location and like an easygoing dining experience, ask to sit in Peyton’s section. We’ll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Chuys on Sunday night and had a great experience. When we sat down we were greeted promptly by our server Peyton . Chips and salsa came quickly. I tried the blackberry lemonade Margarita and my boyfriend had the frozen jack and coke margarita it was great tasting and the perfect amount!! We started with the appetizer plate which was so good but not as good as the creamy jalapeño! My boyfriend had the steak burrito which he really liked. I had the chicken enchiladas with boom-boom sauce and it was very good. The boom-boom sauce may be my favorite! And, even though we were full, we had to have the tres leches cake. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure. Our server Peyton was very sweet and knowledgeable and very helpful about the menu the service was amazing! She was prompt and anticipated our needs without hovering or bugging us too much. We will definitely be back for the creamy jalapeño and the amazing service thank you chuy’s!!

Gloria at Chuy’s – West 7th is amazing! I got dinner with a friend tonight and she was our waitress. She was very attentive, but in such a natural, thoughtful way. My friend and I were deep in conversation, and she was great at reading the table! She made sure we had everything we needed without interrupting or making us feel rushed.
That kind of awareness really stood out and made our experience even more enjoyable. Coming from someone who was a waitress for a long time, it was refreshing to receive this kind of service. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. I’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by her again!
