First, I prefer Chuy’s and one other Mexican food place in Tyler, and it is not JT (which I shy away from whenever possible). Everything was good, not great, but good. Service was flawless, portions were appropriate, and taste/flavor was good. We will be returning.

We weren’t quite ready for dinner yet, but when we walked across the parking lot of the strip mall and caught a great smelling whiff of Chuy’s kitchen …we went in. Food was great, service nice, portions good, cost very reasonable. Glad we stopped by.

It was good. Had to wait a bit for a table. Chimi was a lil small, plus not covered in Queso and they charge extra and customer is not made aware. I didn’t get a discount for the sauce I substituted for. Seems a bit skimpy to me. Good was good. Table for 4 they bting 1 basket of chips, 1 salsa and 1 of the white sauce. Skimpy skimpy skimpy.

Ate there a couple days ago with a group of about 25 people. The table and seating configuration was not ideal. I feel like it would have been so much better if we had a whole section to ourselves. Other customers were stuck sitting at tables right next to us. And since we were all stretched out along a long single-wide table, we had to talk kinda loud in order to be heard by those of our group seated farther down the table from us. There was also only one server to handle our entire group. The poor lady was doing a valiant job of trying to keep up with everything. She was amazing actually. The problem is the fact that she was all alone. The food was good. I enjoyed the veggie enchiladas.

The weather called for a nice patio and snacks so we decided on Chuy’s. They have the best appetizer sampler and salsa.
We also got tortilla soup, another one of our faves! House margarita is a must.

Starting from the atmosphere, it’s feels great with great music and interiors are great. The creamy Jalapeño dip was so good with the chips and I added the Fajita Chicken Burrito with Boom Boom Sauce. Love it. Great customer service.
