I ordered the Hatch green chile (the spiciest option I could get) and it was zippy—totally reminded me of the green chile I had in Albuquerque, so I was all in ️
Patti went with the appetizer sampler, and they were awesome about making it gluten-free by doing everything with corn
If you’re into Tex-Mex or New Mexico-style green chili ️ , this place is definitely one of the good ones ✅
We Will be back. This is a hidden gem for sure!!! I had the nachos and they were so good. I had to stop myself from eating everything !!!!!! Omgggg yall so good. My husband found this spot because it’s by his office. 10/10 for sure!!!!
They have smaller portions, the prices have gone up, the quality isn’t as high, and multiple times I have received food cooked rare or burnt (or expired?) items. The first time it happened I didn’t think much of it since things happen, I would just eat around it. But now this happens more often than not.
The last time I went the food was late, cold and they came out with the check for me to add an extra tip even though I already tipped via their website.
I have given them multiple chances this year but I think I am done. If you love Chuy’s go to another location. This isn’t worth the inconvenience.
I ordered the Green Chile enchilada & Relleno combo with green chili rice. I liked that the relleno was crunchy and the sauce that I got on it was delicious. This sauce is way better than the queso and it was the creamy green chili. Next time I am asking for this sauce as a dip for chips instead of the queso.
My friend ordered the green Chile fried chicken. It’s chicken fried with the potato chips. I tasted this and we both thought it was good, but thought it also needed a sauce on top. Next time I’ll order this with the creamy green chili sauce. This plate had the regular Mexican rice, and we didn’t love it. (We are picky Mexican rice people, though.)
Another friend had the King’s Memorial combo. It’s 3 enchiladas. This person loved everything about their meal.
Recently, I needed to change the date of a catering order I had already placed, and the manager, Shane, went above and beyond to help me. He made the process easy and stress-free, which I truly appreciated.
Great food, great service, and a team that genuinely cares. Thank you!
I ordered the enchiladas, and they were absolutely amazing! The tortillas were soft, the filling was flavorful, and the sauce had the perfect balance of tanginess and spice. The melted cheese on top added a rich, creamy texture, making every bite satisfying. The sides of rice and beans complemented the dish well, making for a hearty meal.
Overall, Chuy’s Restaurant delivered a fantastic dining experience with great food and excellent service. If you’re looking for authentic and tasty Mexican cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit!
