We had an amazing experience at Chuy’s in Bowling Green! Visiting from Michigan. The appetizers were absolutely delicious—fresh chips, great salsa, and everything we ordered hit the spot. Their tortilla soup was a standout: rich, flavorful, and perfect for a cool afternoon.
We brought a group of about 20 people in for an early afternoon meal and were seated quickly with no hassle. The staff handled the large party like pros, and the atmosphere was fun and lively, making it a great spot for groups.
A huge shout‑out to Shana, who took such great care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and even took a group photo for us, which was a really nice touch. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Bowling Green—Chuy’s is a must‑visit!

Quick note: Every time I have gone to Chuys, the food has been tasty (especially the steak fajitas) and the sauces are out of this world! Highly recommend the boom-boom sauce!! The aesthetic of the restaurant is very unique and inviting, and always have clean bathrooms.
But our experience today is why I am leaving a review because of our absolutely amazing waitress Shana!!! She was very accommodating about me being heavily pregnant and made sure I was comfortable and had plenty of water. Shana gave us lots of suggestions towards sauces and appetizers and consistently checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Her overall friendly and positive demeanor, along with her professionalism and menu knowledge will definitely bring us back again!

Overall great experience! I’ve never been to a Chuy’s but my husband has. When got there, the host told us there was a 10-15 minute wait, and took our name and phone number. It didn’t even take 10 minutes and we were seated. The decor was pretty neat and the restaurant was clean. Our server (Molly) was very polite and made sure to identify sauces that had beef-base in them as I have alpha-gal as well as identifying the same when my husband’s queso came out. She made sure our drinks stayed filled and we had everything we needed. I had the Chuychanga with Boom-Boom sauce, highly recommend the combo. Normally I get chicken fajitas at Mexican restaurants but wanted something different. The salsa was good, cantina-style with a slight kick (enough to make your nose run a little). The manager came and checked on us (and other tables), and was very nice and polite. You can pay online with your phone or pay your server. The bathroom was very clean with no issues. I will definitely be eating there again when we’re in Bowling Green.

We came in sunday for my birthday, Madisen was our server and let me just say…. you’ve never had a better server. He was SO NICE and so funny! He cut up with us and our baby boy who was just tickled at him. He made sure our food was perfect! Took care of our to go items for travel, and all around was just the most awesome guy ever. You usually get really good service here, this guy was above and beyond! Thank you!

Fun active Tex-Mex. Good selection of traditional southern border fare. Love the mocktails, but their margaritas are stellar. Great place for kids. A node to the local gearheads: their “inside patio” has a hubcap ceiling. Save room for churros!

Coming out of the deep freeze of January 2026, this really hit the spot today. Been craving it since before the power outages started but finally got our Chuys on. I had the Chuychanga, extra crispy with double rice and creamy jalapeno. My wife has veggie enchiladas and we finished with a. Amazing slice of tres leches. Keyara took amazing care of us, smiled the whole night and kept our drinks and chips topped off perfectly. Love this location, bring back the stuffed avocado and I’ll never leave!

It could have been better we came in really early after a day trip the chips and salsa were fresh and delicious the spicy ranch they give was also tasty. The food was the same general fast serve Mexican food you can eat anywhere, took advantage of the happy hour for some $5 queso, price was great. Did not leave hungry.

My family went out for a date night and we landed in Chuys and let me tell you it was the best choice we could have made! The service we received from start to finish was so outstanding to say the least. Zoe was our server and if you go here you HAVE TO request her as your server. Zoes skills and service was phenomenal. We will be back to visit and look forward to it. Absolutely amazing time and great place to go.

I ALWAYS visit when come into town and this time was excellent as always. I got the steak fajitas and they came out sizzling. I ordered the Queso Compuesto and asked to bring it out with my dinner (it’s an appetizer). I then pour the queso in my fajita tacos and it’s ALWAYS amazing! Devin L was my server and did great! I’m going to try and go back one more time before I leave Thanksgiving Eve!!!!
