On a recent trip to Brentwood for work a few of my teammates and I decided to head to Chuy’s (an absolute favorite of mine) for dinner. This was my first visit to this location.
From the outside to the inside, Chuy’s is themed very well. It’s colorful, has a shaded waiting area outside, and as you approach the building you get drawn into the experience. The inside is just as vibrant as the outside. There are also multiple dining areas, and the building is much bigger inside than it looks outside.
Our server was Nichole (or was it Nicole?) and she was AWESOME. The staff is constantly in motion here, and one of the cool things they do is provide your silverware in a sealed paper bag, ensuring that is has been cleaned and sanitized.
Chuy’s tortilla chips are amazing…no, they’re fantastic…no, they’re OUTSTANDING. Thin, light, and crisp, and freshly made. I’ve eaten chips in (and this is not an exaggeration) hundreds of Mexican restaurants. These are THE BEST, hands down. They have a (I’m guessing) sour cream based jalapeño salsa that is out of this world delicious.
I ordered the steak burrito, and I was only disappointed when I was done with it. 🙁 It was amazing, and the steak was cooked like it was in a contest. I’d have taken a picture, but it would have meant waiting to start eating it. Chuy’s is also not afraid to use spice, and the steak burrito was definitely my idea of perfectly spicy.
Nicole (Nichole?) was great. She visited frequently to make sure we had what we needed and to make sure things were going well.
My first visit to this location was great and since I’m routinely in Brentwood, I will will 100% visit again!

My favorite Chuy’s location in Middle Tennessee! The facility is very clean with lots of seating options. The staff members are very welcoming and friendly. Chuy’s has lots of great meal options! My favorite menu item is the chuychanga with creamy jalapeño sauce. So good! We’ve been to this location multiple times, and always have a great experience. The food is very flavorful and service has always been great. We visited yesterday, and Stormy was our server. She was super sweet and very attentive. Definitely recommend Chuy’s, and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Chuys was great for our lunch stop while traveling recently! We are fans of Chuys restaurants usually. This newer one was not a disappointment at all. They have done a lovely job of renovating the building & making it a fabulous Tex Mex atmosphere. Fun decor all over the large spacious dining rooms.
They have plenty of seating available for different size groups- large or small. Tables & booths. Service was amazing! Our Server was very attentive & courteous. He was fast to check on our needs & kept our drinks refilled. The kitchen made our order in a timely manner.
Their traditional menu is big with lots of choices. We tried Chicken fajitas with all the toppings, beans & rice. Their special of the season was a huge hit with my husband-some kind of chicken filled peppers. ️ he loved them!

I really enjoyed this place and the creamy J’s sauce is delicious. I definitely ate way too much before the actual food came out . The food itsself was really good and the queso was the best part. Our waiter was very friendly and i would definitely come back again.

Got it for take out was very tasty and the chips were nice and crispy also everything was warm. queso was great, salsa was splendid, and jalapeño ranch was really good! Overall, I would recommend this for

Hostesses wouldn’t acknowledge me or my family for 3 or 4 minutes, even as we stood in FRONT of their host stand patiently waiting. Eventually we asked if we could just sit at the bar.
Food wise, the only thing I would go back for is the creamy jalapeño dip. I asked for a beef burrito and it was 80% beans. The green chile sauce was tasteless and used very sparingly. My mom’s beef tacos were just cooked meat on tortillas…absolutely nothing special. And our rice was cold.
This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve tried to like Chuy’s, but I cannot recommend it to anyone who likes polite service and good food.

Meal appeared to be placed under a heat lamp a little too long. Both my wife’s and my entree seemed to have the same issue. The food was tasty but not sure I received what I ordered. Ate my entree, regardless.
