Decent place! The best part about Chuy’s is the atmosphere, where the floors, walls, and ceiling are covered in creative patterns and decor. If you’re going to get anything here, GET THE TRES LECHES!! Best Ive ever had. Other than that, the food was average, but great BIG portions! The service was okay, our food came VERY quickly but the server didn’t seem to care about much of anything. It’s a cute place to stop by if you’re craving Tex-Mex.

My wife and I have gone to Chuy’s a few times, only once was food not up to par. Pretty sure it was new cook but management made it right quickly. But this time it was as we expected…. Top notch. Drinks were also well made.

Quality of the food was on point!!! Great bar area and seating. We had a Taco Salad and Fajitas. Jasmine was professional, pleasant, and always smiling. The entire team including Host stand did a great job.

Our server was amazing and very quick and attentive. Came during lunch rush and didn’t take long at all for our food to come out. Chips and salsa were nice and fresh, fresh made tortilla for our tacos were so delicious, refried beans had lots of flavor. I was very impressed with the queso also.

The atmosphere at Chuy’s is the best thing about the place, it’s a super fun restaurant to visit and the servers are generally pretty nice. The food is average, and the margaritas were not my favorite. Prices are decent, but beware of the extra charges for sides of sour cream, guacamole, and cheese dip. Ask how much they are before ordering too much dip.

The food was horrible, unsalted, and bitter. I called over a manager. There is a NEW CHEF in the kitchen. He heard my complaint, went to the kitchen & informed them. I WILL TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN. If the food sucks again, I will NOT be so kind. Best of luck.

Unfortunately one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in Gainesville. Everything is insanely overpriced for how low the quality of food is. Tacos should come with more than 2 tacos and 3 strips of precooked looking meat like you’d get from Publix. The queso was mediocre and tasted like something premade from a store. The staff was nice and jalapeno dip was really good. Last time I’ll ever go here, probably the worst restaurant you could pick around the area.
