I came in for a late lunch, place was quiet as far as guests go, and the music was good- not too loud. I was told to sit wherever I wanted and a server showed up within 30 seconds to greet me and give me a menu.
I went with a Steak Burrito and the guacamole. Food came out within 4 minutes of ordering and was really good!
My experience with walking into a restaurant during off-peak hours is typically not good, with servers not greeting us in a timely fashion, or food takes a long time, etc… but not Chuyita’s!

Outside seating is pet friendly. Very attentive staff. Food was very fresh and great serving sizes. Our server, Juana, even brought a styrofoam foam bowl with water for our dog without us asking. She has a Chihuahua and a fluffy little dog so she’s a dog lover herself.
I wish I had them back in my hometown. Can’t wait to try more dishes next time I’m back in Charlotte.

This was a great find while in town for work. My colleague and I love Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! Great service right away and ambiance! Great vibes with the music and the spicy salsa was on point! Being lunchtime, I went with the cheesy steak burrito and it was perfect! Additionally, I had a coke with lunch and pleasantly surprised when they asked if I want to take one to go. That was unexpected and truly appreciated. Highly recommend for lunch and/or probably dinner!

Chuyita’s Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem. The beef tacos were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Every dish we tried was fresh and satisfying, from the saucy enchiladas to the crispy wings and indulgent dessert. The service was excellent, friendly, fast, and attentive. You can tell they care. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for authentic, well-made Mexican food.

I have eaten here twice now. Once dine in and once delivery and I had an excellent meal both times. It is evident they use quality ingredients and care about their food. Many moons ago I worked in the food service industry both in and selling to restaurants – I am fully aware of ways to cut corners in order to save money. They don’t do that here. Everything is fresh and it shows. I declared to my family last night that this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Give it a try – also bonus – they serve breakfast all day. Which is great for a kid who prefers eggs over most things on the menu.

First time, rather new place. I had taco salad and my wife had the chicken quesadilla. Service was great. Fun thing, food was delivered by a robot with staff right behind. Kids in the place went nuts for the robot.

What a wonderful experience. Chuyita’s is the REAL DEAL when it comes to the quality of Food, service and atmosphere. Happy servers deliver large portions of delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. We started off with the assorted dips of queso, pico and guacamole. All fresh and flavorful. House made chips and delicious entrees. The service was flawless. A large menu for both food and drink. You will not be disappointed. ENJOY!

We visit the Monroe location on and off. Both locations have good sauces and the food has good flavor. The only thing I don’t enjoy is sometimes they have gristly meat which I encountered at this location too. The agua de tamarindo was good too. The taco tortilla was handmade which I liked but I enjoyed the sope more. I appreciate the great customer service at this location.

Reviews said get the breakfast burrito. It was okay. I am not of the opinion, that it is better than others nearby or in Charlotte. Straight mid.
Some people love the robot. I found it annoying. It blared music louder than anything in the restaurant at lunch time, in a quiet atmosphere. It also annoyed me that despite have one less worker, the prices really weren’t better.
Service was adequate.
I’ll give the food another shot for a real Mexican entree, but probably will get it to go and avoid the robot.

After patiently waiting for Chuyita’s to open, we were excited to finally visit. We were immediately greeted with friendly service. The food and margs were delicious! The corn tortillas are all made in house. So fresh, so good! We’ve happy to have another tasty mexican restaurant in the area and look forward to coming back!
