Turns out Douglas, WY is the place to go for Indian food. I’ve tried everything on the Indian section of the menu and it is all amazing! Don’t be put off by the interesting vibe of combined bar, restaurant, and gaming area. The staff is nice, and the food is great. Service can be slow, so if you’re in a hurry I recommend calling in a to-go order.

What an interesting place. We were the only people in the restaurant which was very nice; however, it was strange that ordering, getting our food, and paying took a very long time. The gentlemen working were polite and the food was good. The menu had a mix of Indian and American offerings for a reasonable price. The restaurant is connected to the hotel (bathrooms too, actually)

Ate there while visiting October 24, 2025. The restaurant is called Curry House, and it is in the Chutes bar. The food and service were outstanding!! Please try it! Perhaps as Curry House builds a customer base they will be able to relocate so that the decor and atmosphere match the Indian menu!

Food is some of the best Indian I have ever had. The butter chicken and chicken tiki masala are my go to dishes there. I will be exploring more of the menu soon. The mango lassie is a great treat. I highly recommend this gem in Douglas!

Authentic Indian cuisine. I’ve tried my fair share of wonderful Indian foods and I have to say the butter chicken was right up there with the best! I definitely recommend. Staff was super friendly. I honestly did not expect such wonderful food in such small town Douglas. A must try!

Unexpected Gem! We wanted a sit down restaurant near the highway and found Chutes. The staff was super nice, the food was good, and the atmosphere was friendly.. This place is definitely worth checking out.

While I was in Douglas I had 2 dinners. Both surpassed my expectations tremendously. Not only was the curry sauce phenomenal and capful but the rice was fresh and tender, and the meat in the curry was OUT OF THIS WORKD tender !!!
I went back eagerly for another meal and had the Ribeye which was so big I could barely eat it all. The quality of the beef was top notch but also the smoky flavour and perfect cook to rare was the best. It might be the best steak I’ve had in my life even compared to steak bbq places in Argentina amd Brazil which I thought were the best.
Gary’s friendliness was amazing and we were always being checked in on at the perfect moment.
