Food was amazing! Definitely more than I ever expected to find in this part of wyoming. The restaurant atmosphere is very strange. I don’t mind the bast from the past feel or dive bar vibe but it just felt very dirty. Table and dishes were all very clean but the carpets, lights, upholstery and overall condition of the massive hotel dining area was very decrepit.

What an interesting place. We were the only people in the restaurant which was very nice; however, it was strange that ordering, getting our food, and paying took a very long time. The gentlemen working were polite and the food was good. The menu had a mix of Indian and American offerings for a reasonable price. The restaurant is connected to the hotel (bathrooms too, actually)

Excellent wild boar and lamb curry – melts in your mouth! Don’t be shy because you walk in and it may be empty. Walk up to the bar and a helpful waiter will assist you. The food is amazing!!

With a name like chutes and a steer head in the logo, I was looking forward to a steakhouse. It’s not. It’s indian food. I’m not a huge Indian food fan, but Google said the other steakhouse was permanently closed and it was late so I ordered fish tacos only to be told they were out. So I got the regular fish dish. If I were into Indian food, I would definitely try it here. The fish was good and tasted like it was fried in fresh oil! It wasn’t greasy or oily tasting at all, but fresh and crisp.

Excellent food! Don’t skip the Indian choices – they’re fantastic! The mango sauce on the garlic naan and donuts are especially delicious. We ate here twice the week we were in Douglas and loved it. The drinks are also outstanding. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Authentic Indian cuisine. I’ve tried my fair share of wonderful Indian foods and I have to say the butter chicken was right up there with the best! I definitely recommend. Staff was super friendly. I honestly did not expect such wonderful food in such small town Douglas. A must try!

Don’t let the building fool you. The food is absolutely fantastic! Even though only the bartender was working he was working so hard to make sure everyone had the best service. The facility is a bit dated and the AC had just broke but my wife and I are so glad we went!!
