I don’t even want to give this place a 1 star. I have never been so disappointed with food in my life. Ordered two sesame chickens, chicken wings, and crab rangoons and threw it all away. Absolute waste of money. I would rather go eat in the mall at Jade express. But if you want top notch Chinese food take the drive to Ramseur.

Called in a 12 pc Lemon Pepper wings. The worker said that it would be 15 mins & the order would be ready. Got there 20 mins later & they were just starting the order. So I waited an additional 15 mins for the wings. They tasted great but the service was awful. By the way, the restaurant was empty & not busy.

Not sure if they have new owners or a new cook. I’ve been ordering from here for years and the food has always been good but this time everything was horrible. The egg drop soup was watery and bland (basically eggs floating in water) and the crispy noodles were stale. The General Tso’s Chicken was soggy and had no spice to it and the lo mein was mushy and flavorless. There’s no way the chef tasted this food bc it takes a lot to make Chinese food bad. I also noticed a sign that charges you extra for basic sauces and .65 for chopsticks which should be included for free like everywhere else. I feel bad posting a negative review on a place that has been consistently good for as long as I can remember but this past experience was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten.

The soup here is not good like it used to be. It’s Very thick and artificial tasting- both the egg drop and hot and sour. I will not order it again. The other food is pretty good.

This dinner is probably the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. We ordered honey spicy chicken and sesame chicken. The rice was ok, but the meat was terrible. Both supposed to be deep fried, both came out pale as though undercooked, however the meat was done. Tasted almost like cooked chicken tastes after it is stored in the fridge. No spice to the honey spice chicken. Egg rolls only had cabbage inside, nothing else.

This is the second time that they left something out of our order. It’s bad enough that we have to “doctor up any fried rice dish just to give it flavor. Also, the egg rolls were so hard, as if they were leftover from earlier or even yesterday. We are scratching this place off the list.

My late mother, Melissa, was a regular customer here. My first visit, she had to bring me here I met Jennifer, who is one of the nicest and kindes people I’ve ever met. Everytime I visited, we would always try our best to have Chu’s atleast once. The lo mein and rice are amazing. Never dry and the perfect amount of flavor! I love Chu’s and still plan to eat here when I visit my step-father and sister.

I’ve eaten here twice now. I’ve order the same thing two days in a row. Yesterday was decent but today I was pretty disappointed especially because I always tip 10%. Basically I order chicken fried rice and fried chicken. Price is decent but there are no vegetables in the rice. Yesterday there was and today there is not. Also didn’t receive fortune cookies. And plasticware is a little sketchy as it doesn’t come pre wrapped. Kind of a hit or miss with food quality and friendly customer service. Will not dine here again.
