This Cuban restaurant is amazing. The Churros were unstoppable! I ordered the Monday lunch special, which was a Cuban steak topped with onions and served with red beans and rice. The steak was kind of like a thin flank steak and was really flavorful. The meal was a little on the expensive side, but that is mostly because I noticed some other customers order the churros and I had to have an order. At only $4.95 this was a steal, but it bumped my meal up above $20. I will be back for more churros, thanks y’all!

Wow, what a dissapointment today eating at Churros Cafe. It’s been a few years since we’ve been there, we were in the area and I was craving Cuban Food. The Pork was the worst. It tasted old, no flavor. The congris was just as bad. The mojo on the yucca was bland and looked like chopped garlic from a jar, yuck. The only thing that I kinda was ok with because I was hungry was los platanitos maduros fritos. I have no clue what happened to this place but we will NEVER return! I will have to visit mi familia en Miami to get Fresh Flavorable Cuban Food or search for a more authentic restaurant in our area. What a waste of money!!!

Hidden Metairie gem. Friendly service. Was crowded but the customers were nice. I would get the Cubano again. Wished they had longer serving hours but it a mom and pop business and they need a rest too!!! I can’t believe how close it is and I haven’t known about it until now. I want to get the black beans next time.

This is a very cute and cozy little spot, and our transaction specialist was very nice, but in my opinion the cuban sandwich was nothing fancy. It tasted like a bland bologna sandwich on french bread. The churros were really good and worth buying.
