Got the churro sundae, very good.
They just need to update prices. Online says $6.50 but was charged $9.61. Asked the lady and said she will let the owner know about it.

Tried 3 different options from their menu… got the Churro Sunday, Churro Sandwich and a Reg Churro.
They we’re Meh… very dry, idk if the dough was old, but each bite the Churro would crumble. I wish they were a little more fluffy.

Loved this place! The lady who took my order was friendly and patient with me. I wanted to order everything off the menu I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. Ordered chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate churros and OMG! DELICIOUS! We ordered churros to go for our 11-hour drive home to Alabama. Let’s just say they didn’t make it to see Alabama! We also purchased three chamoy rims they had up front. The mango is my favorite!

Great place to stop by for coffee and snacks. Fresh churros and pastries. Coffee is good and they sometimes have champurado as well. Service is great and seems like they’re a good business starting to make a name for themselves in town. 10/10, will be visiting here often.

If you are in waukegan IL, I recommend stopping by for a churro. Freshly made yummy! They got you with different flavors like, Cajeta, Chocolate, Fresa, Dulce de leche, & Vanilla.

This place is WONDERFUL! The food is WONDERFUL! The owner is WONDERFUL! I’ve never had such an amazing churro in my LIIFFFEEE!!! They are cooked fresh! Homemade ice cream ….. Omg Everyone needs this place in their life!

I stopped in randomly and wow! The fresh churros were delicious! I took home some macaroons and some cannolis. I just ate one of the macaroons and it was heavenly! I haven’t eaten the cannolis yet, but if they are anything like the other pastries I tried, then I have no doubt they will be delicious as well.
The ladies who helped me were very friendly and helpful! They informed me that they also sell tamales, which means I will definitely have to go back to try those some time.

What an amazing Place , Great CUSTOMER SERVICE and flavors, I came to Churro Gourmet by coincidence , I needed a service to host a business opening event and I found literally every I needed there, to begin with I walked in asking for desserts for 40-50 people, Gina and Mariano owners of this place offered me a tons of variety such as Churro trays, mini Muffins, Flan, Macaroons etc…. I also Asked for small shareable food options for my guests , Gina recommended a tray of Tuna and chicken snacks trays as well Half Sandwiches Ham & Turkey that complemented the service. I got to say everyone loved the food and desserts , but that is not all the great things about this place, I also had Coffee (cinnamon touch) and Hot Chocolate service, both of them brought me back to my roots in Mexico, I remembered my Abuelita home Sunday morning with Family , extremely amazing flavors., they also have a delicious Rosca de Reyes (at that time) and Mexican candies too. One stop shopping for me that day !!! highly Recommended for any Event.
