I was JUST saying that I wish more locally owned coffee shops were open past 4pm and this one came up on my search. I’ll be coming back just for that reason alone!
I love to get a plain latte to go with my sweets and this spot did not disappoint. Along with my latte, I got the mini churros that come with fresh strawberries and Nutella. The churros are made fresh and aren’t too sweet (how I like em!)
It’s warm and cozy inside and the staff were so sweet. Thank you for the experience!
P.s. my fiancee got the iced matcha and the churro donut and he loved both!

This place was great! They make your churro order fresh as soon as you order. Very cute inside and the woman behind the counter was delightful.
We got the traditional with caramel sauce and mini churros with strawberries and caramel. The churros are not the commercial, overly sugared ones but a good balance and so crispy. The caramel was smooth and was delicious and the strawberries were fresh too!

Super yummy! I’ve had the chilaquiles both green and red which were so good! I’ve had the cafe de olla and it definitely tastes authentic! Today we had a regular churro, champurrado and iced cinnamon roll latte they were all so good! I highly recommend trying!

Churreria Dulce Luna is the cutest little coffee shop I’ve ever been to. I happened to chance upon it on January 26th and going was the best decision! (Sorry for the late review!)
The atmosphere is warm and cozy and really feels like you’re just chilling at home, away from all the hustle and bustle. The people are very friendly and more than happy to answer all of your questions. Annnnd if you decide to get a hot drink there, the mugs are so cute! And I say that because they’re all unique and different and not just your standard white/cream color.
While the place is on the smaller side, I could still read at a table and not feel overwhelmed by the rest of the customers inside. Which is huge!
We ended up trying so many different things:
-Iced Horchata Latte (8/10)
-Bacon Avocado Toast (8/10 – a little too much bacon for me, but my friend gave it a huuuuge 10/10)
-Iced Churro Latte (7/10 – the idea was there but the flavor just didn’t quite make us say ‘churro’)
-Hot Matcha Latte (10/10 – by far one of the most delicious matchas I’ve ever ordered)
-Mini Churros with Nutella & Fresh Strawberries with an added scoop of strawberry ice cream (My friend gave this a huge 10/10, but I wish they had different flavors. I unfortunately don’t like nutella but they did a superb job putting it all together! I mean, just look at the picture!)

Just WOW. I tried the Cafe de Olla and it blew my socks off. Played great music, bright colors and delightful setting. Everything feels done with intention and love. Will definitely be coming back here

Such a lovely place! I walked in and informed the kind woman, Grace, that I had never been before. She was very knowledgeable and offered to customize the order due to my husband’s health needs. Absolutely delicious coffee and breakfast, some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend!

I drove by this Churreria sometime ago, and today I had the pleasure of taking my mother and treating us to some of the best churros ever. To start off the whole experience I was greeted with very kind and warm customer service by the Family Staff.
And the churros are the freaking bomb , fresh and crispy made right there as you wait.
This is gonna be my new spot , and I highly recommend you stop in.

Truly a charming family owned shop. Try the seasonal lattaes, Mexican hot chocolate and the mini churros. My daughter and I stopped in today to grab the mini churros to go. Although we’ve only been in a few times the owner remembered us and seems to enjoy creating a welcoming space for everyone.

I can’t express how amazing this place is in a short review, but they made the BEST chorizo and cortado I’ve had in years!
First off, the cortado: I have run three artisanal coffee shops in my life, so I’m a little bit of a coffee-snob. I usually don’t order espresso drinks because they just disappoint. The cortado here was perfect. The milk-texture/temp was equally creamy the to the last drop and the espresso flavor really shines through the latte art.
The breakfast sandwich? The husband and owner uses a family recipe from his childhood home in Toluca, Mexico (the birth place of chorizo) and it was so good that I had to ask for the origin I wrote above.
I haven’t found a place in Thornton that I have been IN LOVE with since I moved out here, but if you check this place out, the warm family atmosphere and excellent food/drinks/service will make you glad you did!
