The chicken was supposed to be crispy, but it was hard and over cooked. I asked for bathroom key and had to get back in line to get it. The person that was available refused to give it to me. Also, my coke was flat. This was a terrible lunch experience. They suck! I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog.

The fried bird here is seriously good—hot, crunchy, and just the way I like it. The team working here is friendly too. You can tell they genuinely value their customers, which is always nice to see.

Ordered the Texas special for my drive/traffic fight back to the Valley. Chicken was crispy and delicious. I just hate that they don’t take the chicken fat off the thighs and won’t give you condiments or napkins.

Bad area very cold in there door stays open. The crust on that chicken is diff from the real churches chicken. I’m 51 and that’s not the original recipe. Also, they all are going to go out of business soon, the Holy Spirit told me. It’s just a matter of time because their prices are outrageous to keep up because a lot of people do not eat there anymore. The food is not all that anymore the crust is way different Indianapolis Indiana and Texas and Florida have the real crust the original recipe

The manager is very nasty to people of color. She refused to make more chicken for the people in line. When asked to make plenty for all of the people standing in line she said 20 minutes ok cool so that angered her more. When she saw her culture people out numbered my people, oh she dropped plenty of chicken. My chicken was old my okra wasn’t what I paid for a large order and got a plastic bag with soggy okra. This isn’t the first time she’s done this to my husband and I. Only reason we go there is because it 5 minutes away from me.

Today’s manager 6/2 at 3:00-3:45pm, my father who is an Uber driver went to pick up a delivery. While he was waiting the Latina manager was yelling and being disrespectful to her employee. Further, after he waited 30 minutes for the order, he asked the manager and she gave him attitude saying that he needed to wait longer. After he finally got the order, the lady went after to him and took a picture of him as he walked away because he didn’t “confirm” his order. This person should not be managing at all. If she had a bad day, go home!

The chicken is good, this Church’s seems to not be a part of the bigger chains and it’s pretty run down and the dining area is literally under lock and key. You can’t actually enter the restaurant you have to order outside through the window. My guess is the homeless people gathered outside the place- they probably don’t want them to come in and the workers most likely feel safer with the dining area being closed
