Having purchased this chicken a mere twenty minutes after opening, I was shocked to discover that it didn’t meet my expectations for freshness. The absence of a crust on the chicken suggests that it may have been refried from the previous day. I’m hesitant to consume the product due to concerns about its quality and the possibility that it may have been returned by a customer. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t inspect the product more closely before leaving the premises and heading back to Houston. As I frequently pass through this area, I will not be visiting this location again. The product’s quality is not satisfactory, and I wouldn’t even consider feeding it to my dog.

It’s in a gas station and the seating was limited but the food was fresh. The biscuits weren’t quite how I remembered them… they have a special going on with a 2 piece bone in or 3 piece tender with two sides a biscuit and a whole jalapeño for like 5 or 6 dollars. Haven’t been to a church’s in a long time so it was nice to get some.

I’ve been in twice in about the past month, two different crews working, and each visit was meh. The cashiers were friendly enough to me, but less-so with my hard-of-hearing companions. The food was good but took forever both times. Some of it had been boxed the entire 25 minutes I waited, while some was hot and fresh. From the time we paid until the food was ready, it was like we didn’t exist. I wish we still had one in Orange because I’d never go back to Bridge City if I had the choice.

On Monday July 14, 2025 I purchased 2 breast, cole slaw, mash pot, 2 biscuits. The chicken didn’t have any seasoning, biscuits were burnt and the coleslaw was old. After speaking with the Manager I was told they have a new way of processing the food. In order to receive seasoning on your chicken, you have to purchase hot and spicy. I will not be back, and the Manager was happy with that decision.

Fast, fresh and friendly!!!! (Went to a competitor down the road, stood there 5 mins and No one was “available” to get out take our order.) So we left and so glad I did, the chicken was hot and delicious and the staff was so friendly and fast. Wonderful experience.
