I haven’t been to a church’s since I left to the military in 2011. Felt really good to stop by and eat at my favorite childhood location. I commend the staff they are nice and it appears they were helpful to the people that were eating there. I highly recommend this place to others that live in the area.

This location is very small and gets crowded fast at lunch, which makes it feel cramped and stressful. Ordering was frustrating due to communication issues.
The biggest letdown was the chicken strips. They were very dry. Overall, not the best experience this time.

Never again will I order from here. I ordered my food through the drive-tru the chicken was partially itable it was burned as if it was over cooked or sitting under the lamp for a long time. My family and I got sick just from the few bites we took.

The Smoke House chicken is back right now. You have to get it cooked fresh that’s the only way to eat it and you will not be disappointed. I got the $5 meal for lunch! The only thing with this location is, it needs to be updated outside/inside!

Me and husband had a long day so we decided to go to this establishment to get some chicken for our family.
We spent almost $50. When I asked for bbq sauce for our jalapeños cheese bombers, one of the workers said it’ll be extra charge, because the sauces are ONLY for the tenders. So we left and I called the store to get the franchises number or a general manager number. The “manager” (so he says) answers the phone -FABIAN R.- I asked for a managers number, he says he don’t know what I’m talking about, I repeated I needed a number. He got loud and said he don’t have a number to give me and hung up on me. We just turned around and returned our whole order.
We work to damn hard to spend almost $50 for bad service.
We ended up going to the Church’s Chicken on Spencer Hwy by the beltway that is connected to a Shell gas station. The prices were cheaper, very clean establishment, and the service was excellent. And we didn’t get charged extra for condiments.

Church’s Chicken. This has to be the worst that I have seen and tasted. This chicken was too small. I’m thinking wings. And thighs were same. They were not even marinated and no flavor on crust. It tasted like they ran out of chicken and went to Foodtn and bought some just to get by. Is this the size chicken that we paid $18 dollars for, and only 8 pieces? Southmore in Pasadena. I will post this on their Facebook and Google.

I am a 65 yr old woman with arthritis on my knees and ankles. I had placed an order but my orka was still cooking. I asked the guys behind the counter to please bring me the okra out to me when it is ready. The place had no customers. When the okra was ready the guys behind the counter told me to get my okra, I asked them if they could bring it to me and one of them responded we are not waiters and the other employee said I can’t take it to you, you have to get up and get it. I told him ok, I will leave a not so good review. That is sad how church’s chicken treats their customers. Don’t expect these employees to help you if you are in need of help or disable.
