Manager Samoa S. Is VERY, VERY,VERY RUDE!! Not only is she rude to customers she’s rude to her staff. The young man messed up on my order and I was overcharged. She comes from the drive thru and gets an attitude with him and sends him to do other things. She then ask me if I ordered the xl okra. I ordered the 29.99 grande meal 16 piece legs and thighs with 3 large sides, she cuts me off and says she knows what the sign says. She then proceeds to take everyone else orders including the drive thru. She finally issued me a refund and told me it should be there. I asked her how soon n she gets an attitude about that. This location is my go to when I go to Tyler to visit family, I’ll go to another location next time. Also the biscuits were old and the okra wasn’t a large, it was a medium. The chicken and potatoes were good.

Rudest drive through experience I’ve had in quite some time. I knew exactly what I wanted and I ordered it completely. Sides, drink…everything. She got my order wrong, I tried repeating but she talked over me the entire time. Then she just cut me off “Okay, okay 2pc, what sides” and let out and audible sigh… now ive been wating outside for 15min

Adding back one star because that rude employee is no longer working there!!!! Miriam & Archie are doing a fantastic job running this restaurant.
Location is amazing and staff work very well with one another. Food came out fresh, hot and quick to order even though they were extremely busy during the lunch hour.
Taking one star off because of the extremely rude Hispanic male employee. He has a tattoo on his neck and is always rude. Standing there waiting for my order I noticed that he is rude to all the other customers and honestly he needs to be trained at customer service or he needs to be fired.

If you’re short-staffed and/or choosing not to take drive thru orders then the least you could do is put a note up saying that so cars can choose to leave or come inside and not sit there waiting in a line for someone to talk to them one car at a time. This is one of the reasons I don’t go to Church’s but unfortunately it what exactly what my son wanted for his birthday so we went.

Don’t know what the food was like. Or the service. Everyone seemed nice. But the smell was awful. Smelled like sulphur, or gas. And the bathroom lights didn’t work. If I wanted to use the bathroom, I had to turn my flashlight on. I couldn’t see anything else about the bathroom. There was toilet paper and running water. But I didn’t stay to see anything else.

Stopped by yesterday too tired to cook. I ended up with burned Mac and cheese , old coleslaw with black substance closed in lid? and a dead roach on top of corn. This is not acceptable, I m sure it should have been noticed when packing items. Don’t waste your money or risk your health here.

My immediate response to my partner wants returning to the truck was I can scratch this location off my list. My favorite is having spicy chicken and there was none available. There what’s some type of spice squirted on top of the chicken I purchased that was supposed to make it spicy but it tasted nothing like spicy chicken. I waited several minutes as it took five people to assemble the order for the people before me. It was difficult for one of them to break away and take my order. There was a large amount of pre-cooked chicken that was under the heat lamp. It was beginning to get dry. Cold add dry chicken has never been a favorite of mine. The customer service what’s nothing like what I have experienced that other locations and I do not recommend this location for anyone who is serious about chicken

I had a really good experience here. In the beginning the cashier was kind of rude and acted as if she did not want to be there and was annoyed with taking my order. The GM was there and she handled it very well, they made my food fresh and all over the customer service was great. The chicken could have used a bit more taste because it was kind of bland but the customer service was so good I’ll be back just for that and give another chance. I hope this management stays around because from my understanding this store has a bad rep, I am thinking she can turn it around! Great experience. 10/10!

The staff were not wearing gloves. I watched a man scratch his head then touch the food. The place smells terrible and the final disappointment there was hair on my biscuit and chicken tenders. This location is the worst in Tyler!!!
