Went just now. Called ahead because I knew that it would take a while since it’s Christmas Eve. Ordered 2 lg mashed potatoes and 1 lg Mac and cheese. Apparently there never was an order under my name even tho I called ahead and made sure it was the Mabank location. Bad customer service, u could hear the employees arguing. and when I got the food after 15 mins. got home all the gravy was spilled in the bag. Lids weren’t on properly cus my passenger was holding onto it.

On Wednesday december 3rd 2025 at about 630ish we stopped at church’s chicken in mabank texas. We’ll ive never ever gone to a churches that was this bad, first there were 2 thicker girls in front and I’m assuming one of them was still learning the ropes and the other was maybe a leader? There were 2 cooks in back one covered in tats and the other looked like maybe hispanic. The 2 girls seem to be poorly managing orders seeing it took me 25 min to get mine and not to busy, the white gravy I ordered with my tenders looked like a watered down version of the white and brown gravy mixed together and tasted like it looked, the chicken tasted like it was cooked in grease 10 days old or older. None of my order was eatable..the new girl needed to take a class for customer service and maybe smile while doing it. Neither girl smiled and neither seem to be able to handle more than one order at a time , definitely was not a multi tasker .and as a matter a fact i felt like i was being a bother . As I watched them do others food, I noticed the cook had no gloves on, some of the food containers in the warmer was covered in spilled food down the sides of the containers and no one bothered to wipe it off as they pkg it up in the bags to be sent out. Some chicken was put in a box then taken out put back under warmer then removed to another order. I must say the only thing eatable was the biscuits , my order was $42 dollars. Large drink, 10 chicken tenders. 2 large fries, order of little pepper bites. And a 3 PC combo so all cooked in same old grease. It was so bad it was a $42 dollar meal thrown to the dogs.. I will never ever go there again.
