They always forget stuff and take way to long when only one person on store are drive i door dash and two time they have forgot my drink are some chicken are sides tonight they did it again and forgot my two sides and my poor dasher had to go back and get it . I am not happy i have to go to sherman because they are so rule . The manger he don’t deserve To be one he was talking crap about Customers in drive thru toe i asked for 4 barbecue sauce he said because i got gravy on side that i paid for i can’t get barbecue sauce i pay for the two extr barbecue sauce and they only gave me one after i paid for the other two extra on top.of all that also i always get the 5 peace spicy with coleslaw they never give me spicy . They close the door and lock them one hour befor they are suppose to he forgets what drinks you get and have to tell him they take for ever i waited in drive throw for 15 min waiting to place order mind you only one Customer in front of me and did not see anyone in side when i drove off. The lady is rude and have to repet my order over and over . I have been inside waiting not only do i order door dash with them but i am a dasher my self . I was waiting one day and what they do is take one order make it and then when that vehicle is gone they take your order corporate should do something about it in one day my roommate order Uber and they forgot my drink and biscuit and then we had to get it fixed this were all way around these corporate to come in and fix it

After trying this place twice I felt like a fool hoping it was just an off day. Wrong,,,,even worse. This place is horrible. Chicken strips tasted bad so I cut in half and noticed the meat didn’t look right, either undercooked or old or something. DISGUSTING. Fries were cold and bland and the ketchup even sux lol The drive thru person was almost impossible to understand and they left off part of my order and still charged me for it. 20 bucks thrown in the trash. This place should be shut down. Worst food ever,,,,, hopefully i don’t get sick This Church’s needs Jesus…..

I see my experience is a part of a theme on their reviews. I was in drive through & they charged me & gave me items I did not order. My $22 order came back $31 on my receipt. I asked to be refunded the difference & they can keep the food & drinks I did not order. She told me I would have to come into the dining room so she could wait on people behind me. I knew that meant I wouldn’t get helped for a long time so I said I’d just wait & she could finish waiting on me. I was not rude. She was & started yelling at me. I just kept saying if she would have given me back the $9 when I first asked for it, I would already be gone. Finally, the owner threw $31 in cash, the amount charged to my card, into my car & yelled to never come back because he won’t wait on me. He must have thought that because I stayed calm & respectful but firm in my conviction, that I’d come back. Their food is really good & their close to my house but I’ll only support businesses that have ethical & honest morals. If you do eat here, do the math before you pay.

The manager was absolutely rude. I told him I was that at the Sherman Church’s Chicken and purchased my order when a vehicle ran into the building. I went to Denison Church’s to see if they would help me get the chicken I purchased at Sherman since the police and ambulance were there helping care for the employees. A long shot but a shot I took due to the circumstances. He told me that if someone ran into his Church’s Chicken, he would’ve shot them! Then told me he was not Sherman and why I’m here for Sherman’s Church’s. Then he walked away from me. I told him he could’ve been polite about the whole situation and the way he relayed his non-involvement with the Sherman store. He said why am I still here. I told him he sucks. Then he closed the drive thru window. After the dust settled with the Sherman Church’s after the terrible accident, which btw involved 2 like 80+ year old men crashing their vehicle into the store injuring the workers, the Sherman store manager and the team helped to settle my refund while they were there cleaning up the debris and equipment. Denison’s manager from about 2:55 to 3:30 on 14 December 2025 was the worst. Forget the rudeness to me, but to say you would shoot someone who accidentally ran into your store is appalling. He showed no care for human life. There’s no way that Church’s stands for this type of poor management, customer service, and care.

Had dinner here. We got fresh biscuits and they were so good! The chicken was fresh and very tasty. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was some of the best gravy I’ve ever had. I wasn’t a big fan of the Mac and cheese though. Overall I would definitely recommend.

I hope I can leave 0 star. We ordered 2 combos but the staff charged 3 combos. We asked her to correct our order, then the staff said “no you order 3 combo”. After then we asked one more time. I ordered 5 pc tender combo, but I got only one side instead of 2. And no dipping sauce anywhere. And of course no side order of Large Jalapeño bombers that we ordered. Such a nice revenge.

Pulled up to the driver thru and the lady answering the speaker was very rude and disrespectful. Then pulled up to window an she wanted to proceed being disrespectful So we drove off . That’s the second time it happened. And the manger just stood there and allowed her to be disrespectful.

The lady at the drive through was sweet and apologetic. We had to repeat our order at least 5 times. We weren’t given a total until we got to the window and paid. When I got my receipt, I noticed I was charged almost $17 for my $11 mixed chicken meal. The restaurant already upcharges for mixed, but these scammers add additional charges. I went inside to discuss the charges and things got worse. The manager tells me I’m complaining about $3. I said, yes, it’s my money! The manager then says, it’s self explanatory. I asked for a full refund, which he then says, you have to give us back our chicken, you don’t get free food. I informed him that I hadn’t received any chicken and in fact, didn’t even want the drink or anything else from them. This location is dirty, and run down. The kitchen is stripped of almost everything. I’m not understanding how this place passed any inspection and is able to operate in this condition. They use the language barrier as a smoke screen to scam customers. They have no respect or appreciation for the community they operate in. Don’t eat here.
