Visited on 05/02/25 @1pm. I ordered a 10 piece dark special, order of okra, mashed potatoes, 5 peppers and fries and 1/2 gallon sweet tea. I asked if my receipt she said it was in the bag. I got to work, no reciept in the bag. The chicken was hard like it was re- fried or something. The okra was good. Mashed potatoes were hot . The tea wasnt sweet though.

I arrived at 7:42pm. The doors are locked. The dining room closes at 8:30pm. Why????? A disgusting male employee waddled up the ramp and used a hidden key to go inside. I tried to ask why was the inside closed and he just yelled “CUZ ITS CLOSED!” Then waddled back outside to smoke a cigarette. Disgusting place

My experience today wasn’t the best . I ordered on the app while at the drive thru monitor due to no one asking to take my order. Someone finally answered, but was trying to hold a conversation with someone else in the kitchen. The cashier at the window notified me to pull around to wait. After waiting in my car I went inside to retrieve my food. I asked for a complementary cup due to this inconvenience. The manager interjected and told the cashier no. She told me she’s out of those cups and wanted to know why I wanted a cup and what I want in it. After a guest heard what happened she offered to pay for what the manager refused to give me. The manager told the customer she can’t help right now only one customer at a time . I won’t be back to this location. Extremely unprofessional and don’t care about making sure the customers are satisfied. In addition my rice was very overcooked and mushy.

The chicken wasn’t good, nor done and it was greasy. The Cajun rice wasn’t good and it was mushy. It didn’t even look like Cajun rice at all. I got large okra and French fries and it wasn’t a large looked like a medium. I will not be getting churches chicken ever again. The only thing I liked was the biscuits.

Not only did they forget the sauce I paid for but they didnt even give me a biscuit.I went back in for my sauce left thinking I had everything and no biscuit. I will never get churches chicken ever again. Terrible.

Update: Picked up 8 piece spicy with biscuits and rice. Every thing was fresh and made just right. Service was great as well, way better than their competitor. End update. ….The roasted chicken was quite good. Somehow the usually amazing fried chicken was lacking in seasoning.

When they first come to town, the food was…. rushed;cooked.. but not FULLY. Not to where it’ll make you sick or kill you, but could have sat another few minutes. Just not to MY specifications as a SU’THERN gentleman. But as time has passed they have improved tremendously! Chicken is crisp and crunchy, tender. Well my husband wanted fried chicken and we entered this terrible place…couldn’t believe that the health department hasn’t shut this place down. Water and Mold damage everywhere…we did a fast exit..NEVER GET FOOD HERE!!

Came in on Mardi Gras evening. Service was awful and order was wrong. Have been trying to contact them directly about order and they refuse to answer the phone. People work too hard for their money to not get what they pay for. Management should be ashamed of themselves. Corporate should definitely look into this location.
