I had been craving Church’s for the longest and I am so disappointed!!! The chicken was dey and VERY OLD!! i am seeing a pattern now after reading these reviews. My friend ordered hers online and I picked mine up and both our food was dry, disgusting and old!! We work hard for our money, only to have it wasted this way. Fresh chicken is definitely not a thing with this place. It needs to be shut down after reading all the bad reviews!! SMH

Was craving church’s all day so I decided to get some after work, UNFORTUNATELY the chicken we received in our 10 Pc combo was absurd. The Legs wasn’t juicy at all. Really dry and tuff as if they gave us older chicken legs that has been sitting under a heated lamp for a couple of hours and refried it… I mean just look at the images. Gave 2 stars only becasue the sides were the only fresh thing in our combo. I will be sticking to Popeyes on black Bob. Pissed!!!

Husband placed an online order yesterday. When he got there he was told to come back in 5 minutes. We ordered 2 all white meat fried chicken meals. One 2 piece with mashed potatoes and added extra biscuit and jalapeños. The other was a 4 piece with fries. The fries were old and stale. All 3 biscuits were so old they were hard, crunchy and inedible. The chicken was so old that there wasn’t anything edible on the wings and only the very center of the breasts were edible. The mashed potatoes were on the burnt side. The apple pies were on the stale side as well. Nobody should have to go all the way back to have their meals replaced.They know what they’re serving. They know what they’re doing. There’s a reason they aren’t busy anymore. We used to eat here a lot. We will not be back. Church’s has successfully lost another customer.

My wife placed an online order here, couldn’t be bothered to put napkins, utensils, butter, seasoning in the bag. Chicken pieces are small and looks old also biscuits were hard with no taste! How you gonna be the only store in a empty plaza and still provide trash service ?

A unique location. Doesn’t have inside dining. There is a drive thru and outdoor seating with an order window.
The staff was friendly and expedient. The fried chicken was heavily breaded with a crunchy but bland outside. The meat was tender and juicy. The fried okra was pretty good. The mac & cheese was simplistic, but a better flavor than KFC and Popeye’s.
Nothing special, but it was cheap. I wouldn’t return for their basic food; however I will come back to try their seasonal flavors as those are always good!

I give one star on food because I typically visit between 9-10pm you can tell they put the chicken back in the fryer to heat it up. The skin be very greasy and the meat be dried out

You know people work hard for their money period point blank!! An after a hard days of work you want to get the best for your buck!!! And today this place has really dropped the ball! Being served food that’s not fully prepared is one thing but I have 3 young children I’m serving as well! The place wasn’t busy I pulled right up to the speaker, my order was a mobile order and I was 5mins late to pick up so it’s not like I was rushing! As I approach the window the cashier tells me, “ohh I’m sorry we was out of apple pies so we threw more biscuits in for you(basically didn’t give me an options) ” first off I didn’t order biscuits so why would you think I want extra biscuits??? All around bad customer service! But to get home and make my children plates to see unprepared/ partially prepared food was devastating and heart breaking and their putting the mashed potatoes in 20oz fountain drink CUPS!!!! I had small issue before big this here takes the cake with the unprepared mashed potatoes!!! It’s really unacceptable!

The gravy on the chicken fried steak was so watered down that it was water. See photo. Other meal we got , they forgot the seasonjng in their flour, when breading the strips. 100% will never be back. This food should have never been served.

I feel like you make the best chicken in Kansas Overland Park! The wings feel so juicy to eat.
I suspect that you are injecting some sort of ingredient to chicken to make it taste so yummy!
It’s an addictive food item, but make sure you make it healthy. I know you do it.
Well initially I ate chicken in n number of places but Church’s chicken I got a chance to eat very less, but one fine evening we are craving for something different but we are sure that we need a yummy chicken that’s where Texas chicken came into the picture.
Initially, we ordered from Uber Eats, which is a scam because only few items are charged more than $20.
— We ordered chicken breast and wings.
They were so crunchy and yummy , but a little oily on the top.
Next on a fine afternoon, we feel like let’s go to Texas chicken nearby and order there.
Luckily the place is very close to my house. We went there and we got so much food for just $20.
— We tried fish as well as chicken wings.
Chicken wings are same like the previous order from Uber Eats but fish is kind of oily, and it has more batter instead of fish.
But on the final note, you can surely try it, Texas chicken for sure because it will make you addictive for sure.

— I think you can make your environment, so peaceful with the help of decorations and plants
— make sure you make your food so healthy by adding healthy ingredients
— make sure the fish should be fish not the batter on the top.
