Unacceptable Experience – Cold, Undercooked Food and Rude Service
This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Church’s Chicken.
My coworkers and I spent nearly $60 on an order, only to receive cold chicken and completely incorrect items. Instead of receiving wings, we were given breasts. But worse than the wrong items — one of the pieces of chicken was visibly pink and undercooked. This is a serious food safety issue, and I’ve attached a photo as evidence.
I called the restaurant and initially spoke with Tasha, who sounded apologetic over the phone. However, when we returned to the store with the cold chicken, the tone completely changed. I was greeted with, “What do you want?” by an employee with a bald head and a baseball cap — extremely rude and unprofessional.
Tasha, who claimed to be the manager, was visibly irritated and stated, “I told her to give me 12 minutes.” I responded that it was fine and I’d wait. She then remarked that customers should just go to the 103rd Street location instead and mentioned she was about to leave to get her hair done — not something a customer needs to hear while dealing with undercooked food.
This was a completely unprofessional and unsafe experience. We will never return to this location, and I will be contacting the food and sanitation department to report the issue of serving undercooked chicken to customers.

Foods typically what I expect, and enjoy. The problem has been that at least 60-70% of the time I’ve gone they’ve either not given use service completely or were not the greatest customer service wise. Whether it be an online order or an in-house order. I understand depending on the time and people there will be different environmental issues but, that is no reason for the staff to not be able to regulate how they interact with non-disrespectful or non problematic patrons.

Spicy rice is nasty over cooked mash down like dog food waste of money and then the cashier working cashier and put people food in bag no sanitize she’s not wearing no gloves and she’s touching up the register and putting chicken in the box.

$17 for slop. Dried out chicken strips & pieces small as a chicken nuggets. Fried okra bits were dark, batter was falling off some of the okra, the other pieces were undercooked. I thought going midday would give me a better chance at receiving a decent meal, but it seems as if I got the chicken that was left from last night. The only good thing about this place was the young lady working the drive through. She had a good attitude, and she tried to find me the best pepper for my chicken.

I stopped by to grab a quick 2-piece meal, not realizing there was a Tuesday special. I waited to be greeted, but no one acknowledged me until they served the car behind me. That moment said everything about the lack of customer care at this location.
The building looked dirty, the grease seemed old, and the whole place felt unorganized. It’s disappointing because our communities deserve better—clean service, accountability, and respect for paying customers.
Attitudes over chicken shouldn’t be a thing. Good customer service doesn’t cost a dime, and it should be the standard no matter the neighborhood. We can—and should—expect more.

Stopped by at 7:30p, at first I couldn’t tell if it was open or not because the drive thru was very dark, maybe if the menu was lit up that would help or even a couple lights out there but I seen another car in line so that helped. It was a few cars in front considering it was only 2 young ladies working they were working that line. I got a 3 piece spicy & 2 extra biscuits everything tasted great considering it was at night too. The young lady working the window was pleaseant, no attitudes & efficient yet I didn’t feel rushed while ordering like some places.

If it were an option to give negative stars I most definitely would. I will NEVER patronize this location again!!! After going thru the drive thru I was told to pull around and that my food would be “right out”. 20 mins later I pulled back to the speaker and was told to wait a minute for them to take my order. 3 mins later when Cierra came to speaker and asked for my order I said I’m still waiting on my order. In a nasty voice she snapped what is your order. In midst of me repeating it she said “I told you to wait in your car “. I said I been waiting for over 20 mins. She started yelling and I pulled up in front of the store where I waited ANOTHER 5 minutes for them to bring out my food. Only to get home and finally try to enjoy my dinner and it was horrible. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Tasteless. Waited too long for food. They stopped selling corn on the cob. THAT’S what made them stand out over other restaurants. Church’s has always been known as greasy chicken but it was at least good. It was tasteless. Looked good but no flavor. The only thing I liked were the jalapenos.
Church’s should have never changed the formula and removing corn on the cob to replace with frozen corn they warm up in the microwave smh is a huge L!
