Overall good first time experience last night. I was disappointed the drive thru was closed but went inside. Had to wait a while for the person’s order in front of me to be finished but once I ordered it was very quick. The lady (Christine- i think) at the counter was very helpful and friendly. The food was good. We got mashed potatoes. Macaroni. Chicken strips and a Jalapeño popper wrap. Macaroni was really creamy and good. Chicken didnt have much flavor but was still good. And the other two items good as well. Everything was hot and fresh.

The chicken is weird. The original has WAY too much breading that has NO seasoning. The chicken inside the breading was tender and juicy but disappointing because fried chicken is supposed to be fried….having to pull all the outside off defeats the purpose. Fried okra was pretty good but the honey biscuits were PHENOMENAL. I will go back just to get them to have with a different meal. The fried apple pies were pretty good too. One of my photos shows how much flavorless breading there was on 1 breast and 1 thigh. The other is the yummy biscuit.

This is a going to be a fair and very honest review. I went through the drive through and was very weary because there were no signs and didn’t feel like it was even open. No hate but the property could use some landscaping/mowing. We ordered three meals, two chicken tender meals and one chicken meal. Chicken tenders are mediocre at best. Chicken was a strange texture on some of the pieces. It looked juicy but had no flavor. The on the bone chicken was just okay, not bad but not the best. The fried okra was good. The breading was like a cornmeal breading so it wasn’t as crunchy as I’d hoped but still good. I’d buy that again. The biscuits saved the whole experience. Apple pie, also good. Fries, meh. Mac n cheese, meh. Sweet tea was good, tasted like actual home made sweet tea. Over all experience 6.2/10. The customer service was good, the girl was friendly and checked in with me because it definitely wasn’t fast. If I went back I’d get biscuits, apple pie and okra lol. Three meals with a couple extras, $49.10. Way over priced in my opinion.

The food was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the okra. Was. So. Good. The biscuit tasted like manna from Heaven. They even gave me an extra tender! Please go. Seriously, it’s delicious.

Had my son go pick up meal. It was suppose to be 8 piece boneless chicken meal. First of all it looks like they don’t care how they put the chicken in the container no tissue paper just in a plastic container which looks sloppy second of all the were strips not boneless chicken wings, fries and chicken tasted like they were sitting there all day. So not very happy at all. The only thing that I ate basically was the biscuit which was the only thing good.

Great customer service, and really good food. The chicken was great, and I also really liked the spicy rice. The only downside is the drive-thru is closed because of being short staffed but it’s definitely worth going in to wait the few minutes plus you know it’s made fresh

Great food, great service. My son and I stopped in for a bite. Last time I had this i live in Vegas and let me tell you this was by far better here than there. I can see they are working on fixing up the building so my rating is low because its not quite finished yet, but I can yell you it looks like it will be great give it a shot, its better than Popeyes and just as good as KFC.

I’ve been here twice since they opened earlier in 2025. Service is a little slow given the short staff, but they are attentive and moving constantly. Food is great. Chicken is hot and crispy, good flavor and not chewy or tough like some chicken has become in the past few years due to cost/poor sourcing. They also have fried okra. Let me tell you….fried okra is a childhood staple of mine from the south. Its almost impossible to find up here. I’ve ordered it both times and it is crisp, flavorful and just like I remember as a kid. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.

PEE-EW this place made my stomach hurt. The chicken may look good but it’s just dry and not crispy at all. There are many other good places in stoughton for some chicken. Even McDonald’s is better than this place. They left stuff in my order out and did not care. I wish you make the best decision for your stomach by not going here. Never again.

There were 3 people working when I went in. It took 15 minutes for them to take my order while I stood and waited. The food came out in a fairly timely manner. But once I received my food and stayed eating it tasted horrible I got a 4 piece mixed chicken combo. The chicken had no taste other then old grease. No seasoning at all. I ate 1 and a half pieces out of 4 and threw it away. The mashed potatoes were OK and the biscuit was OK. The fries were cold and old. The dining room was short and didn’t have any straws or lids for my soda cup.
