We drove in from outside of St. Louis for my uncle’s funeral, we stopped by churches chicken in Indianola. The staff was very nice. The chicken was hot and fresh !

Okay! So I see everybody’s giving this place a bad review. It’s probably because they live there in the city and I on the other hand only come through maybe three times a year when I’m headed home to Mississippi! So, I do not have a bad review for this Church’s Chicken. The food is always good, hot and fresh. The okra and apple pie is to die for! Perhaps I come through at a good time? I don’t know. I just know that this is my go-to spot when I’m headed back home to Alabama. This restaurant interior is the highlight of my review, as it gives homemade to the great League B.B. King. The decoration is awesome! I’ve included some pictures for your review. If you’re ever headed down 82 through Indianola MS, do stop in pick up some chicken and enjoy the ambiance! ☺☺

Won’t go back! The staff was rude and slow. They were more interested in talking to each other than to help the customers and fry chicken. Me and 3 other customers were not greeted upon entrance and waited until the 2 staff finished talking before they even bothered to take our order. Then they had attitudes like we disturbed them at home. The food was ok . Won’t go back. I’ll spend my money somewhere with good customer service.

The line was long, the food was not fresh, it seemed to had been put on a warmer which made the chicken dry and tough to eat. Yeah it was fine that the line was a little longer which is normal due to it being a high traffic area on a highway, but it’s all about team work. The care and pace at which one works to get the job done to let it be known they actually do value their work.

The fries, Chicken. biscuit. We’re good. As always.but the Fountain drinks. The lemonade was only water. It had no flavor from the lemons and no sugar just water and ice. but it was refreshing. So I drink it, keep driving.

Not really sure what they did to deserve this but I really miss the old Church’s Chicken I’ve seen when it was lines out the door you couldn’t even get into now you can come anytime of the day and it’s empty because I don’t know if they change the recipe I know they definitely changed a lot of different people it’s just not the same

On Saturday May 20th, the staff on duty that took our order between 1-2pm was very rude. She wasn’t customer friendly, rude and disrespectful with interrupting the customer as they gave their order through drive thru. Once we asked to speak with the manager, she wasn’t apologetic or caring. Church’s Chicken is the go to spot, especially with their okra but the customer service outweighs the food. Apparently the manager on duty is having better days because that day she was truly suffering from being hurt.
